Iran has arrested 30 people for allegedly waging an organized, U.S.-backed cyber war against the nation, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported Saturday.
A State Department spokesman declined to comment on the report Saturday night.
Ok, so let me get this right, 30 people in Iran, presumeably Iranian, waged an internal cyber war against the Nation of Iran and supposedly the US backed it? What does a cyber war actually entail? And how would or could the US support this? Well first I would naturally assume that it would entail a bit of Hacking, a bit of Phreaking, and a bit of a few bytes. For under 100.00 there is software that is available and downloadable that can penetrate 99.9% of all actively connected networks, secured or not, either by remote connection or even by Wi-Fi.. And as we all heard the US UAV's were found to have major security leaks with data transmission thus proved the 100.00 software theory.
But whats even scarier is that the Older verrsions of Microsoft Windows INCLUDED several tools which are commonly used for Hacking\Phreaking. It would be interesting to know what Operating Systems and software were supposedly being used to conduct this "Cyber War" inside of Iran by its own people. I wonder how much longer the people of Iran will allow theirselves to live in fear of those who are in place to protect them? Protection is also Domination. Offer the people proctection while letting them know they can also be swished like a bug under the boot of those who protect.
