Insider-trading investigation nets 6 arrests in England

Six men were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of being involved in an insider-trading ring, the Financial Services Authority said.

The FSA, an independent body that regulates the financial services industry in the United Kingdom, carried out the operation with the Serious Organized Crime Agency in the first such collaboration, the FSA said in a news release.

In the operation, 16 residences and businesses were searched and documents and computers were seized in London and environs.
