Octuplets mother Nadya Suleman, with 14 young mouths to feed and a mortgage to pay off, accepted an offer to use her lawn to promote responsible pet ownership in exchange for cash and food, her lawyer said.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) sent Suleman's lawyer an offer to pay for placement of a sign in the yard of her La Habra, California, home. The sign would read: "Don't let your dog or cat become an 'Octomom.' Always spay or neuter." The ad features a litter of kittens nursing with their mother.
The offer is intended to call attention to the dog and cat overpopulation crisis, PETA spokesman Amanda Schinke said.
"Every year, 6 to 8 million animals enter animal shelters, and roughly half of them are euthanized because of a lack of good homes," she said.
The unmarried Suleman already had six children when she gave birth to
octuplets in January 2009. All 14 were conceived through in vitro
fertilization.

I wish that irresponsible Nadya Suleman would just GO AWAY. I'm tired of her pimping her situation and her children to stay in the limelight.

they should put a sign for people not to become an octomoms, not for dogs. hope she wont bring any more innocent lives on earth. she should be ashamed of what she did, not try to benefit from it for her personal good.
The state really needs to step in and take most of her children away for adoption. With pending foreclosure, and that many mouths to feed, with no sustainable income, this family is only going to continue to be a trainwreck, year after year.

Finally, Octomom does something worthwhile!
We know Suleman put herself into this situation to need financial and family assistance, but being humiliated via PETA referencing her multiply children to send a message about population control is crass and tasteless. Then again trying to profit off your children and making your life a circus on display isn’t very tasteful either. PETA knows no boundaries.
Finally i hope she realies thats all she is worth. A Peta commercial. Im tired of irresponsible people popping out babies and expecting hanouts like this woman.

She should be ashamed of herself, putting her kids through this ordeal. I saw the View interview, she (octomom) kept laughing and acted very jittery, i think there is something mentally wrong with her.

This poor woman has no self esteem, respect or foresight of what her children will have to endure forever more.
This is the first time I've had any feelings of sympathy for this woman. She's on the verge of becoming so destitute she is prepared to ridicule herself to get a little money and food for her family.
