Sarah Palin to appear in 8-part documentary on TLC

Former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear in a new eight-part documentary series on the TLC network,
parent company Discovery Communications said Thursday.

The show, "Sarah Palin's Alaska," will be "about the remarkable Governor Palin and her home state of Alaska," the Discovery statement said.

There is nothing "remarkable" about this person. Nothing to see, move along...

    Wake up America.

I know that those that 'stroke her goat' know they are doing wrong. A bit like that asian contender on America's got talent who ended up with a recording deal. He was awful. He couldn't sing. He was soooo bad, he got a contract.

We do not have the luxury of humouring this bovine in the same way. We are talking people's lives.

This heifer is so moneycentric [did she ever return the clothes that the G.O.P spent $150,000 on?] the fixed news gig was not enough.

TLC. The same channel that brought us the Goslin train wreck. Not to worry though. The adage is; you lay down with dogs, you get up with flees. If their brand is so... well, 'nuff said'.

I for one will be boycotting this show.

I do not like the idea of rewarding Sarah Palin, especially in light of the "cross-hairs" threats against members of Congress in the healthcare debate.

I plan to encourage others to follow my lead. We will not turn this into free publicity for this show. We'll take her out quietly.

Are you kidding? Is this network run by uneducated people? This woman is a manipulative, lying, self-centered person. TLC is going to invest money in Palin? Pick a hero, pick a giver, educate children - anything but invest time and money in this person that the rest of the world has already realized is vain and useless! TLC needs to read the FULL story behind Palin!

Who in heavens name decided on this little deal!! I don't care about Sarah Palin, she deserves to take herself back to Alaska, shut her foul mouth and quit meddling in politics. Especially when she spouts untrue, very ugly and provocative statements on her Facebook page. So now TLC wants to give her an 8-part documentary!! This woman needs no more promoting! Talk about putting lipstick on a pig. ..I certainly wouldn't watch this nasty person . Find a more worthy person to host what may be a worthy series.

Just what we need, more news coverage of Sarah Palin. Wouldn't a comical reality show be more fitting?

I think I will be watching a lot less Discovery in the months ahead. I believe in an ecology- conscious approach to future developement and Sarah Palin has been anathema to this widely held view.

After this series, one can only hope former Governor Palin, will elegantly present a 10 part symposium on the three branches of the Federal Government. Folks, she is an expert on everything, she should get more than 1 million per episode.
