ESPN's Erin Andrews target of death threats, attorney says

Erin Andrews' attorney says the ESPN reporter and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant has been the subject of death threats since the end of March.

Marshall B. Grossman says several threatening e-mails regarding Andrews have been sent to sportscaster Dan Patrick starting in September. These e-mails, “until very recently, were of a sexual nature but then turned violent,” Grossman told CNN.

In March, an Illinois man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for secretly recording images of Andrews in the nude.

Why would anyone want to be so cruel?
I've been watching her on "Dancing with
the Stars" and she's absolutely adorable.
One creepy experience was bad enough.
She has been strong and resilient in
embracing her public persona, and now
some sick-o has to scare her again?
Bless you, Erin! You're so much better
    than all of this.

Good God, why can't this woman be left in peace? I hope they get the creep(s) that are threatening her and put them away for a good long time.

This just boggles the mind. People are threatening this guy with death? What for? And what kind of idiot LOSER I wonder did they arrest for this? This reminds me of the college kids who staged a sit down strike because the caefteria didn't serve Captain Crunch. Just ridiculous.

I would like to know why the militia group, the Hutaree's, are not being labelled as "terrorists".
It is not like they were merely getting together for a little shooting practice, They were "charged not only with plotting to levy war but also trying to use weapons of mass destruction."
Why aren't they being called terrorists? Is it simply because they are "Christian"?

How sick! She is a sweetheart. I can't believe how many creeps keep coming out of the woodwork. One is arrested and three more pop out. Just tonight it was reported that 133 registered sex offenders live near a missing 12 year old. The justice system needs to be more frightening.

Peep holes in a hotel room? That's what CNN reported "The taping took place through a hotel-room peephole, and the video was posted on the Internet." That wasn't any spur of the moment thing, couldn't have been. It would be intersting to know how and why that man who did the taping managed all of that. the tape was published and now she's been receiving bad emails. there's more then meets the eye about this.

Women aren't safe anywhere in this society and won't be safe as long as we are seen as sex objects. Here is an intelligent, attractive woman who is just doing her job. Look at all the men who have reported on sports events for years and years, are they video taped in the privacy of their hotel room? Do they receive sexually perverted death threats? This society is SICK.
Until men can see women as a fellow human beings. each one a unique person, an individual to be admired and respected.Until then we will have this insanity happening and keep finding our beautiful young women, our daughters, sisters, and wives dead (violently killed) in ditches all over the country. Only men can make it STOP. Only men can change the way they view women, instead of seeing them as sex objects see them as fellow citizens who need to be protected, and stand up against these predators, one man at a time and it starts with you.

How is it Erin Andrews gets death threats because she was on Dancing With The Stars, and TK can call for people to maim and kill cyclists and nothing happens? I would think the guy that basically threatened a couple million people with death and dismemberment would be getting the violent e-mails instead of the woman that was taped by a pervert.
