WebPulse: Conan to TBS, Adobe CS5 and Oprah

Conan is back on TV -- and he's going to be "Very Funny."

Here’s a quick glance at the collective consciousness of the Web on Monday:

Conan O'Brien and TBS - CoCo fans, you have your answer. Your fearless late night leader has a home again - though judging by the reaction online, it certainly wasn't the place most of you expected. This morning Conan and TBS announced they had reached a deal to put the late night host in George Lopez's talk show spot, moving his show to about midnight. Many people figured Conan was headed to Fox and the announcement this morning seemed to catch many people off-guard. But according to the New York Times' Media Decoder blog, the move was just as much a whirlwind for Conan and his folks - TBS in 10 days agreed to nearly every request and Lopez said he was happy to move back his show for Conan's arrival.

Adobe CS5 - Adobe may be fighting a battle with Apple over Flash, but they launched their own assault today with the announcement of their new creative suite that will let users become professional photo retouchers and HTML5 coders quicker than ever before. Tech geeks (present company included) seem to be excited to be able to take the new suite for a test run - though many appear to be waiting for the free trial before shelling out the dough. For more on the newest and most popular features that were unveiled you can see preliminary reviews from both PC World and MacWorld.

Oprah and John Tesh - Who doesn't want to know Oprah's secrets? That's the idea behind the unauthorized celebrity biography written by Kitty Kelley who takes on the queen of daytime TV in her latest book. While Oprah is one of the celebrities with the most name recognition, her real life has often been a secret for her fans. That, according to Kelley, includes a relationship with John Tesh and whether or not O and Gayle King are lesbian partners (Kelley concludes there is "no foundation for the rumors of a lesbian relationship.")

Roethlisberger –Lots of buzz today surrounding the news that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not face criminal charges after being accused last month of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman at a Milledgeville, Georgia, nightspot. Roethlisberger, who has been accused of similar allegations before, had faced anger from fans on social networking sites after the allegation was made.
