An Israeli counter-terrorism unit is warning Israeli citizens in Egypt's Sinai peninsula to return home because they face the risk of militant attacks.
The group said it had "concrete information" about an "imminent risk of a terrorist abduction operation" in the Sinai - a popular tourist destination spot for Israeli Jews and Arabs.
Warnings about travel to Sinai and other places have been issued frequently by the Israeli government.

israel should not say that because tourists from all over the world visit egypt everyday and nothing happens , egypt is a safe place to visit and be in ,
israel has every right to tell there citizens what the goverment thinks is in their best intrest just like america has a list that it suggest its citizens not to go to

abi – From your name alone we can all tell what your motivation is towards calling the Israeli's cowards. Especially given that the arab groups who have targeted Israel & it's citizens never attack as a single unit but rather a network of groupie thugs. It is you and yours who are cowards and for very good reason. If Israel ever targeted you it's a fair bet that your life expectancy would be shortend rapidly. Fortunately for you, unlike your arab bretheren Israeli's rarely attack proactively and are instead reactive getting even under the "Eye for an eye" retaliation. It think it's good for you to remember that it is Egypt that knows it does NOT want to be in the target sights of Israel given how many times Egypt has had their backsides handed to them time and time again in recent years by the Israeli IDF.
Seems like Egypt should be happier to get Israelis out and not get in the news for a terror related event. Egypt doesn't have the greatest police or intel, especially in Sinai. Remember the bomb in the parking lot in Sharm a couple years ago.

Whether this is true or not that Israleis are threatened in Egypt. We don't like to have innocent people to be killed on our land, however, the +ve part in it is that they will leave Egypt. We don't want them and we don't need them as tourists. Let them go back to Israel and stay there. The world is full of places that they can visit as tourists so why Egypt in particular if Egyptians don't want them.
I hope that Israeli tourist heed the warning. Egyptians have in the past allowed their terrorists to bomb a bus in Cairo, the Sharm el-Sheik resort (a few times) and allowed one of their own policemen to slaughter a family of Israelis in Ras Burka, so maybe it is high time that Israelis find other places to go for vacation, when there is an imminent threat warming. Just because the Sinai peninsula is so beautiful does not mean that it is worth risking one Israeli life for it. Don't forget, the Muslim Brotherhood and Gama'a are ancient history, they are alive and kicking in Egypt, so heed the warning and wait until there is an "all clear".
Well every country has the right to warn their citizens of imminent danger. More importantly it is the responsibility of all to help the law enforcement agencies of the whereabouts of terrorists. Terror and terrorists do not differentiate between nationalities. All are victims. Eye for an eye does not resolve issues because both get blinded. It is time all wake up to the reality and find ways to make peace. Let us all contribute towards peace. We need to leave a legacy behind for our future generations. Remember Values are caught and not taught and so it is every humans responsibility pass on right values to our children that of peace and love and not hatred.
