For some time now, NASA scientists have been searching for extraterrestrial life on other planets. NASA will hold a news conference Wednesday to talk about what it has learned.
Last year, NASA launched a Kepler aircraft equipped with a special telescope to try and find Earth-size planets in this galaxy.
The aircraft is on a three-and-a-half -year mission hunting planets but NASA has been able to download data. However, ueven without the evidence from Kepler, some believe there are aliens floating somewhere out there.
British physicist Stephen Hawking said aliens might be traveling the cosmos right now.
Hawking talks about his view in a Discovery Channel series, "Into the Universe With Stephen Hawking," which began airing this week.
On the show, Hawking suggests that extraterrestrial beings might not mean good will to people on earth. He imagines that aliens might have the technology to harness energy from whatever star they're near. The process, he proposes, could open a wormhole that could let them travel large distances.
Hawking's warning contrasts with the excitement some are showing about the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.
Just last week, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) said it was releasing its data to astronomers and researchers all over the world, hoping more people would join the search.

Do beings that have the capability to travel our universe really give a flying saucer about us primitive humans?
A race so caught up in their own greed, that they destroy the only place they have to run?
With a few exceptions, (Stephen Hawking, et al.) we're a pathetic excuse for a species.
Warmongers with one bottom-line: Money.
It's obvious. A greater intelligence has the intelligence to keep away from this poor excuse for a planet.

Even if another country other than the U.S. beat us at the space race, the reprecussions are the same. To discover distant worlds and possibly discover new life-forms. At some point, all the people of every country will have to take part into a large global movement to explore space and extent human life to distant planets. It will be interesting, because you will have those who will participate in this movement, and those who just chill out on earth, and choose not to leave earth.
The Bible is clear we are alone in the entire universe. SETI is nothing but an attempt to prove God does not exist. What NASA should be doing is what science is for, to improve the lives of man.
How is the Bible clear that we are alone. There are 200 billion stars in our galaxy and the observable universe contains over 100 billion galaxies. Now do the math. Even if 1% of all those stars and galaxies contain planets with life you have millions of life bearing planets. After all we are here and our earth contains an abundant number of life forms. Think out of the box. The universe is life friendly. You are limiting your God.
Exactly where in the Bible does it say that we are alone in the universe? It doesn't. Larry Norman said it best: "If there's life on other plants, then I'm sure that He must know, and he's been there once already, and has died to save their souls...."

Alright i have this thinking i know its impossible but also possible at the same time now and i am speaking to the scientist who as a greater experience and undersading with what im bout to ask now if it is possible that these aliens could be us but evolved like say they traveled through time now i do have a reason for stateing this see of what everyone is trying to say like in egypt they have beings helping them build pyramids so to say what if they are trying to help us evolve our technology faster like they are us in the distant distant future yet they might not be trying to harm us but study to find out more about them selve what if something happened to them. there are so many question that we cant answer but what if thats possible what if they are trying to save us from what i dont know but soon we will find out and if they are out there we will no what there plan is its just a matter of time
