Nine people were killed Friday night when a suspected U.S. drone struck in Pakistan's North Waziristan near the border with Afghanistan, two local officials said.
The dead consisted of two children, two women and five men, Pakistani intelligence and administrative officials said.
The U.S. military routinely offers no comment on reported drone attacks. However, it is the only country operating in the region known to have the ability to launch missiles from drones, which are controlled remotely.

I live in an Irish family and I can honestly say I've never thought of murdering anyone or blowing up a car. I'm pretty sure most Islamics have'nt either. Is anyone aware of the fact that the drone attacks have been stepped up - considerably - since President Obama took office? He knows something we don't know. Unfortunately, it is "fashionable" to hate Americans, but they have to defend themselves. When terrorists attack America, it's not the politicans and the CEOs who become the targets. It's the Moms and the Dads and the children - the innocent people. Unfortunately, the only way to stop it is to go to the source. If that terrorist had succeeded in setting off that bomb in Times Square, who do you think would have died? Families on their way to see "The Lion King". That was his target. Stop defending these people, and stop blaming the victims. What has to be done, has to be done.
