9 killed in suspected U.S. drone strike in Pakistan

Nine people were killed Friday night when a suspected U.S. drone struck in Pakistan's North Waziristan near the border with Afghanistan, two local officials said.

The dead consisted of two children, two women and five men, Pakistani intelligence and administrative officials said.

The U.S. military routinely offers no comment on reported drone attacks. However, it is the only country operating in the region known to have the ability to launch missiles from drones, which are controlled remotely.

EDF: Either you're a terrorist (aka american) or an ass-kissing terrorist (aka american) supporter. No logic behind your comment, just empty rhetoric.

Cowards, yes I'm an American terrorist. A Viet Nam vet baby killer. And I'm pleased to see I got to you.
You spout nothing but hate. I'm still waiting to hear an intelligent and rational argument from you.
Tell us your view of history. Why is Islam at war with America and the western world. Try to be specific and articulate.
Now everyone hold your breath as we wait for a sign of intelligence.

Koran teaching: Give the infidel one chance to covert to Islam. If he won't he must die.

Bible teaching: Old testament laws followed, updated and replaced by New testament revelations commands followers to forgive their enemies.

Pictures of Jesus remind followers of his image which enables ...... pictures of Mohammed are blasphemy (apparently) and should not be drawn in case it encourages idolitry.... at the same time Muslims idolize him.....Huh, what.... You don't want a picture of that fantastic person you worship? Why? He was just a guy. What's your problem?

Not just a guy as he and his white horse ascended to heaven with their last step upon the rock. As under the dome of the rock.

Steven Nguyen: Based on your last name, if true, you're Vietnamese. For you to be supporting the actions of these terrorists (aka americans) you betray the memory and indeed value of all your brethren and countrymen that were wiped out by the millions by these genocidal cowards- aka americans- in what we know as "the Vietnam war." You, sir, are a disgrace, a traitor, to your country, and hold no value to the millions of lives that were slaughtered by these cowardly terrorists. But you forget not to make mention of the +-3,000 (likely terrorists, based on genocidal and terroristic tendencies in past and present) americans- of the same rotten bunch that murdered your countrymen by the millions. Pathetic indeed.

Amerika's war crimes continue. Anyone that supports this immoral war or participates in the murder of innocent civilians is a war criminal!

Most of you all don’t even have a clue how pathetically unintelligent you truly are. If you did, I am sure you would not even bother to write a comment. I would not put it past those loyal to Al Queda or the Taliban to fabricate information about the killing of innocent people just to help support their cause. This is called propaganda, which the U.S. and Afghanistan governments also use to help further their own interests. However, you simpletons here just assume that the five men must have automatically been terrorists, while the two women and two children must have been innocent civilians. I guess you have not read the articles about the female suicide bombers. Many females have blown themselves up in the name of Islam. A five to four ratio? So I guess all that is needed to consider a mission a success is to have killed a majority of guilty people compared to innocent civilians? I guess a mission where 999 innocent civilians were killed would be considered a success as long as 1000 “terrorists” were killed. All of the tiny male packages that comment here are amusing. Too bad you all can’t grow a big one like I have. The full potential of most of you “males” here can’t be more than about three inches. The rest of us here would appreciate it if you would grow a bigger package and IQ size before you write your next comment. Thanks.

    Ladies and Gentleman,

Petty bickering will get us nowhere. War is a truely ugly thing, sometimes innocent people die. In the case of this, let me explain something, the military has one job, to kill a whole lot of people in a hurry and if possible attempt to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. If you study the history of war or aggressor occupations of countrys you will find that many armys surround themselves with innocents using their eventual death by a warring faction to vilify aforementioned faction. This has been recently evident in the constant battle between Hamas and Israel where Hamas was installing missle launchers in school houses.

    Make sense to anyone?

Gee, I can't imagine why a citizen from Pakistan would be angry and want to kill Americans. Incidents like this (drone attack) are a result of a reckless foreign policy and makes us less safe.

Every religion has inherent strength and weakness, but one of it pries on others excellence. I have not seen it contributing on its own strength but used swords to conquer and claim as their own. Leaches are better in that regards, they at least cure blood clotting.

Russia should've finished this war decades ago. None of this would be happening now. But america had to help them then. Terrorists would be talking now if america didn't help then.

Then we still viewed Russia as the enemy. They did help North Viet Nam.
I would invite todays Russia to join NATO and sell them a missile defense system.
