Nine people were killed Friday night when a suspected U.S. drone struck in Pakistan's North Waziristan near the border with Afghanistan, two local officials said.
The dead consisted of two children, two women and five men, Pakistani intelligence and administrative officials said.
The U.S. military routinely offers no comment on reported drone attacks. However, it is the only country operating in the region known to have the ability to launch missiles from drones, which are controlled remotely.

IMHO – The US started the invasion just for OIL. They said it was WMD's. So they oust the leader, and militants start terrorism. Terrorist need to be dealt with and I do not see wrong in killing them. WHAT I do see wrong, is all these "safe in the armchair" commentors not giving a care about the loss of innocents. Len, India may never want to associate with them in any way in their current form. They are bidding camel to the core and do not have faintest link or appreciation to their ancestral culture.
