Peru cops: Holloway suspect van der Sloot wanted for murder again

Joran van der Sloot was a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway

FULL STORY

Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man once considered a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, is the suspect in the killing of a woman in Peru, Peruvian police officials said Wednesday.

There is "incriminating evidence" linking Van der Sloot to the killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found dead in a Lima hotel room Wednesday, Cesar Guardia Vasquez, of the criminal investigations unit said at a news conference.

The hotel room where Flores was found was registered in Van der Sloot's name, he said.

A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said.

He's a spoiled rich kids that thinks he can get away with anything. And he's right. He'll get off again. That's justice in the world today. Oh, karma is when he is killed and that killer gets away with it. Karma is not getting "suspected" again.

He'll have less of a chance getting off this time because his dad isn't there to bail him out and pay for a good defense. Peru isn't as gentle on their criminals :-)

@me: isn't Peru on the list of nations that are accused of brutality/human rights violations? (yeah, the US is on it but, as far as I know, we haven't cut off any heads in years...). Remember Pinochet? He had a way of making people "disappear" too.

unfortunately Natalie will be his ace in a hole. He will push for a plea deal is he tells what happened and where her body is at.

Why in the world would Peru care about getting a Natalee confession out of him? They have no incentive to lower his sentence, if he spills about Natalee.

What an evil demented person. Sure hope he doesn't get a away with it this time. With Natalee, the Dutch government did nothing to cooperate with the investigation. Since the murder didn't happen in Aruba, there will be justice this time.

Is he guilty or are the Peruvians looking for an easy target so they don't have to investigate any further ?

Who cares? Even if he in the end had nothing to do with either murder, the interviews he's given since the first murder are cruel and insane.

People like this Vander Sloot are not long for this world to begin with - they tempt fate one too many times in their lives and it catches up to them quickly. Seeing as how girls seem to "mysteriously" get dead around him, I think the time on his clock of life is winding down.

      Brian,

Regardless what u think of the blonded girl (which u have no clue and didn't know) she did not deserve to die, American or not, this killer needs justice served and he is either in the wrong place at the right time or he is guilty. I mean this goes further than coincidental!!!!

Let's see Brian, "killer van der sloot" and this girl are seen by other hotel guests entering his room at 5 in the morning and the next thing you know, this girl is found dead and "killer van der sloot" has fled to another country. Also, there's video tape of the two of them out together before they went to his room. Sounds like evidence to me, not just the authorities trying to solve a case. SHAME ON THE AUTHORITIES IN ARUBA! They have blood on their hands.

      Wow Brian......
I agree there should be a trial but you seem to be one hateful and ignorant individual.
Maybe you or your daughter if you have one, need to spend the night with a van der Snoot so you can be a human being with the rest of us. Grow up or shut up....you make me sick.

The police and the courts will decide what happens not a bunch of townsfolk with torches and pitchforks. I also stand by my earlier comments. Where I come from going home with strangers you met in a bar makes you a tramp especially if you don't tell anyone what you are doing. I did not say I wanted anything bad to happen to her or anyone else but you need to take responsibility for your actions and always be on guard. Doing this is a foreign country, even if it is a nice resort, is still a bad idea.

But Brian, you still judge her as a tramp without any context but your own value system. That makes you judgemental. Why don't you be a decent man and apologize for calling the young lady a tramp?

Oh please, if his skin color had been different he would have never walked away free the first time. BUT stupid rich spoilt idiots like these just never know when to go back home and live quietly, they always have to get into more trouble, perhaps they feel invincible because they live under the protection of their influential parents.

Then why did the Kalpoe brothers, who have dark skin, walk away? This didn't have anything to do with skin color, it had everything to do with the oxymoron known as "Dutch justice".

I was wondering when the "RACE" issue was gonna be brought up. Thats bull hockey. You say because he's white – he got off. Thats so F * * G stupid. OJ was black and his wife, who he almost decapitated, was white. Guess what – HE WALKED. whats your excuse for that – any race comments ????

Yes, because all the repeat offender 'brothers' in jail (to quote you) "never know when to go back home and live quietly", either! This isn't about race. It's about a kid that got out of a murder conviction because his father was a judge...could happen, and probably HAS happened with ANY race!

I hope no one is surprised at this. He straight-up confessed in front of a hidded camera as well as numerous others. He got away with murder and most likely feels invincible as a result.

You are 100% correct. Why doesn't the rest of the world see the truth. He certainly did confess, but some people refuse to listen even if the evidence is shoved in their faces. It doesn't take a rocket-scientist to realize his guilt – at least in Ms. Holloway's case. I wouldn't be surprised if he was responsible for the second one too.
