Peru cops: Holloway suspect van der Sloot wanted for murder again

Joran van der Sloot was a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway

FULL STORY

Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man once considered a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, is the suspect in the killing of a woman in Peru, Peruvian police officials said Wednesday.

There is "incriminating evidence" linking Van der Sloot to the killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found dead in a Lima hotel room Wednesday, Cesar Guardia Vasquez, of the criminal investigations unit said at a news conference.

The hotel room where Flores was found was registered in Van der Sloot's name, he said.

A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said.

Seen going into a room registered in his name at 5am? Body found in said room? Fled across the border to Chile? At least Natalee's mother will find closure, possibly. She and her husband divorced after the disappearance. No, Joren is guilty as can be. What's he doing in S. America?

Wow, Aruba must be proud of their native son. I wonder how many judges will try to obstruct justice this time? Find a tree and hang him high.

Who is to say that Natalee was the first? Or if she was, that this woman in Peru was the second? From other news reports it sounds like she comes from a wealthy family herself so perhaps they will have pull this time and can get this kid locked up!

very interesting point of view "simply sharing" maybe they weren't the first and second. that's crazy to think but it's hard to cast it aside knowing he was able to get away with killing Natalie...i doubt he'll get away with this one. i wonder if after he's locked up on death row, maybe he'll confess to more.

His dad is now dead, but there were many complicit parties on the Natalee case cover up. What a sham of justice...Aruba and the Netherlands should be ashamed. Had he been locked up already, another woman would still be alive today.

It will be interesting to see how Joran will fare in the Peruvian court system now that he doesn't have the comfort (and corruption) of home base like he did in Aruba. Joran is the OJ Simpson of the Caribbean and South America – the second time will get him behind bars, hopefully for good.

Behind every psychopath is his or her psychopathic family, and his enabled him to get away with Natalie's murder the first time.

In this VanderStink case, enablers and accessories after the crime yes, but there is not always a psychpathic family behind every sadistic murderer. My guess is that this creep was born without empathy. Pure evil from day one.
