Peru cops: Holloway suspect van der Sloot wanted for murder again

Joran van der Sloot was a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway

FULL STORY

Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man once considered a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, is the suspect in the killing of a woman in Peru, Peruvian police officials said Wednesday.

There is "incriminating evidence" linking Van der Sloot to the killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found dead in a Lima hotel room Wednesday, Cesar Guardia Vasquez, of the criminal investigations unit said at a news conference.

The hotel room where Flores was found was registered in Van der Sloot's name, he said.

A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said.

I met this dumb-ass once a couple of years ago. He used to live in the city were I (Arnhem, The Netherlands)live. The man's a liar and will take any oppertunity to make a buck. Now that his father passed away we could have known he would get into more trouble. Just a year ago he was filmed in a second undercover operation where he was trying to sell women to so called "strip-club owners" (actors hired by Peter de Vries). With his face and a name well known all over the world...why doesn't he try to stay out of trouble? Does he like the attention THAT much? Or does he think he can outsmart (don't get me wrong...he's very intelligent) everyone and commit the perfect crime?

It's too bad another person had to die so this monster can be stopped from killing again but at least the family of Natalee will have some closure as well. As for this low life Van der Sloot...I hope he gets a zillion times what he did to those poor girls and has many "boyfriends" while in jail for the rest of his pathetic life.

@Kendra: You are WRONG, we are not allowed to torture people over here. The police are afraid to even take their guns of their holsters because of all of the paperwork that's involved when firing a shot. If anything, they will tell him to "not pull a stunt like that again", give him a pet on the back and the bag of weed he had on him when he was brought in, then tell him to go home....trust me I know..I live in this damn country.

I've read the majority of these comments and I agree with most regarding the cover up in Aruba with his fathers' influence, BUT I MUST SAY THIS.... I am so disappointed that people do not realize the strengthin numbers...IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP yes I said STOP going to that Island and spending thier money they would have found Natalie a looooong time ago. PUT THAT ISLAND IN A VICE AND SQUEEZE It is the way to bring her home..... I personally think he will prob off himself before he will live in a peruvian prison.... but I hope not cuz I want him to spend an eternity in one of those hell holes on earth. My prayers are with BOTH families.... HOW SAD!!! STRENGTH IN #'S might have even saved his latest victim. If they were forced to "find" Natalies body They MIGHT have "had" to arrest him and this young girl might still be alive. PEOPLE RECOGNIZE YOUR POWER!!!!!!!!! Unite!! We do it for other things WHY NOT FOR THINGS LIKE CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND CHILDREN i'll never understand it I'm sick to death of victim after victim and child after child gone missing and murdered. ITS TIME TO TOUGHEN UP... WE NEED "OUR OWN" PERUVIAN PRISONS HERE FOR PEOPLE LIKE THAT..

Well I can't think of a better place for a spoiled rich kid who grew up with a sense that the world's rules did not apply to him, than to slowly rot in a Peruvian jail. I would hope he has 30 or 40 years of misery, which will be worse for him coming from a life of privilege. His next poker tournament can be betting his @ss to some big ugly gorilla. Too bad there are two dead girls whose families will only get closure but not satisfaction.

To those who assume the Holloway case was news in Peru. It was not. there was no way this girl would have known who this guy was. This involved an American murdered in Aruba, why would Peru's media follow the story? The US does not follow every other murder committed in foreign countries. As usual, those comments reflect the very ethnocentric view of Americans, it was on our TV so it must have been all over the world. WRONG. You need to get out more often.

SHAME ON ARUBA FOR LETTING HIM GO. BOYCOTT THE PLACE. And come visit Peru instead, he'll get what he deserves.

Let nature do it's thing. Just bury this P.O.S. in the ground up to his neck and let the fire ants take care of him.

In one way, I think he's killed more than two women, but than I think, "He's so stupid, he probably killed two and of course, was caught. I do think his father was a killer. Any parent who would take part in eliminating a corpse, must have his own serious demons. His father had no guilt or shame. His father was a creep, and you know that old saying, "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree." Like Father, Like Son. Joran Van Der Sloot got away with a murder in Aruba, but I don't think for a moment he will get away with the murder of Ms. Stephany Flores Ramirezin In Peru. God Bless Her Poor Parents. My Heart Truly Aches For Them. By the way, I'm certain if the authorities don't seek justice, someone in Peru probably will. Either way, I think Van Der Sloot is a goner.

I knew Stephany from school .. she was a nice girl she didnt deserve this .. but her dad is well known and rich and he will do ANYTHING to make him pay for what he did.. this time he isnt going anywhere .. and if he is its JAIL .. and trust me .. jails here in Peru are HORRIBLE. Trust me he's gonna wish he was dead when he experiences
    life there.

Oh and regarding his father. He's dead. I personally think he helped his kid get out of the Holloway murder. Both by power he had, if not helping to actually dispose of the body. No help from Daddy now!

Joran van der Sloot may just be the most hated man in America! I am so awaiting the outcome of Peru's hold on him. Having a baseball bat in his hotel room tells me that he was targeting ANYONE in the casino who had winnings and whom he felt he could get to go back to his room with him. It just so happened it was the daughter of a past Peruvian presidential candidate. Looks like Joran's Daddy didn't leave any of his estate to his son, unless he gambled it away already. And his Mommy claims to not have known where her son was.....she probably kicked his a$$ to the curb after Daddy died. Well, if he thought his a$$ hurt then, he has NO idea how it's going to hurt in Peruvian prison! He'll be begging to be put to death. Good riddance to this complete waste of protoplasm. The world will rejoice!
