I'm sure Betty White doesn't feel she has won. I imagine she feels she's lost a friend. My heart goes out to all of Rue's family and friends.

Usually, I don't feel any sense of personal loss when a celebrity dies. This time is different. Rue, if there's an Internet connection in Heaven, thank you for all the laughs you brought into my home through your portrayal of lovable, promiscuous Blanche on "The Golden Girls." Whenever I really need to laugh, it's time to take "The Golden Girls" dvds off the shelf, and watch every single episode over again. There must be a special place in Heaven for people who lighten our loads, by making us bust a gut laughing.

Awwwhhh...this makes me sad. I have been losing sleep at night because I have been staying up late watching Golden Girls on WE channel. Only last night I watched several episodes and was cracking up. She played her role so very well, I liked her spunk. I guess we all have to go sometime. RIP Rue.
