A staff photographer altered pictures of BP engineers looking at three blank screens at the company's oil spill control center, making the screens look as if they were displaying underwater shots "to enhance the quality of the photo," BP told CNN Wednesday.
A BP spokesman said the photographer had no intention of misleading anyone, and the altered photograph was taken off the company's website as soon as the issue was discovered.
Several U.S. politicians have criticized BP for trying to put a positive spin on the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster in the three months since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded off the coast of Louisiana and sank.

3) I believe BP is fully at fault.
You can continue to call me qwerasdf-BP guy all you want because no one even believes you. I already told you I'm NOT defending BP and I don't condone their mistakes. I believe BP needs to take full responsibility. To answer your stupid question, I do not use Photoshop "for my job." However, as a photographer, I do occasionally use Photoshop, but not for the purpose of photographic alterations.
Why don't you stop posting your 5-year old ideas and learn to speak real science and throw out real facts. You're as bad as the 9/11 conspiracy theorists.
That kind of behavior, is really getting old.
Dear U.S. Politicians, stop complaining about BP and actually DO SOMETHING. Cancel their military contracts, because BP cannot be trusted. Cancel their permits to drill. You should, seriously, seize their assets till the fix the Gulf...just in case they try and skip out of town next month. BP cannot "succeed" because they have already FAILED.
In my opinion, if you cause ONE disaster, you should be out of business, not still selling BP stocks on the stock market.
There is no way to put a positive spin on this disaster. The damage has been done and BP (and everyone effected by the oil spill) will have to live with it for a long time.
Enough is enough already. Americans are sick and tired of the lies. We can accept a lot of things but don't tell us that it was an accident. We are not stupid and have seen the BP BS.
