The United States Geological Survey recorded a earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 off the coast of Oregon at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday, about 80 miles west-northwest of Barview, Oregon, and 197 miles southwest of Portland, Oregon.
The earthquake was about 6.2 miles (10 km) deep, making it a relatively shallow earthquake.
Lise Harwin, communications director for the Oregon Trail Chapter of the Red Cross, said the initial impact of the earthquake seemed minor. She said her agency has not been contacted for assistance.
No tsunami warning has been issued.

I think other web site proprietors should take this website as an model, very clean and great user genial style and design, as well as the content. You are an expert in this topic!
Some truly good information , Gladiola I found this.
Sir, you have no standing to speak on behalf of God. He can do that himself. Or did he tell you?
HAHAHAH! You just made my day.
HA!
NOT.
Too bad all the neo-con tea-klanners aren't 197 miles southwest of Portland, 6.2 miles deep
Marti, this is our government. We elected these officials. If you are a true patriot, you cannot be wishing bad things on our government officials. You're probably one of those who wraps themselves in the flag, but the minute you don't have your way, you want to destroy that same government.
So our founding fathers were not real patriots? If I remember correctly they were wishing all sorts of bad things on the king.... A true patriot shouldn't love this country unconditionally... a true Patriot should always be pushing to make their country better.
Too bad it wasn't you Jeff.
This was only a moderate earthquake for the Pacific Rim.
Sorry, Linda...looks like you don't know a thing about history, communism, socialism, sociology or government.
Do your homework, my dear, before you spout off about things which you know nothing about.
I'd be willing to guess that you don't really want people to think you're ignorant, do you?
Linda, what has this to do with Arizona?
But better for who, that is the real question. Our founding father made the country better for white land-owning males, other than that is was basically peasant status for many. I would guess half of the people screaming "I'm a Patriot" today would have very limited rights in the colonial days.
