It doesn't means it's not free you just need to respect others and their feelings. Just as you would want others to do with you.

To reply to Blame Bush comment we shouldn't have to get over anything. It's not the point of people besides blacks saying the N-word. It's how the word is intended when it is being said. I know of many people friends or not outside the Black race who use the N-word but it's known what it was intended for . In the case of this radio host her intent was very different an appeared to be intended to hurt people an draw out this ugly situation in which she did and it's her own fault. She good have worded the whole conversation different it didn't have to be put the way she put it and to me she put it the way she really felt an at that moment she couldn't hide. So shame on her.

You know we're in very, very different times from our ancestors but we're left with this generation curse that people just can't seem to let go of. Slavery has been out the picture far too long for people to still be holding on to racism. You all really need to let it go cause when it's all said an done we are all human and all AMERICANS', now you tell me what give some AMERICANS' authority over another just because of what went on in the past and because of the color of their skin. This type of action goes on more them people want to let on to why I don't know and it's going on in places that it has know business going "Society as all whole". So tell me who's gonna be the the one to admit and at least attempt to change cause you all know just as well as I do this don't make any since just a shame.

Good night to Dr. Laura. Good-bye! Good riddance! She is a selfish, self-appointed so-called moral expert, who is not moral enough to be sensitive to her listeners. Now she’s blaming others for being offended by her use of a word that she apparently enjoyed using.

the hypocrisy in all this is that Dr Laura will probably be more popular more than ever after this controversy but if someone was to say one little thing about her background, they would be persecuted and called an ANTI-SEMITE and their careers be ruined like Mel Gibson's. God bless the United States of Zion.

Dr Laura is psycho not a psychotherapist. Sounds like she may need to take the couch herself and get a dose of her medicine for awhile

Well Bill, by your logic the Jews should just get over the Holocaust, so they can move on and stop making excuses. Sure.

Gee Bill, I'm guessing you've never experienced subtle, or rather in this case, direct aspersions to your culture & upbringing. Folks with no heart can't feel the pain of others, & write it off to "whining" or some other thing. I don't imagine your neighbors enjoy your company much...

My comment, above, was in reply to someone named Bill, who post was deleted, allowing my reply to stand alone, thus it may not track well by itself. Bill was saying that blacks should just get over the N word and move on....

How are people suppose to get over things when you're having put in your face all the time. You want people to get over things then others will have to let go first.
