Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital after her husband found her "unresponsive" Tuesday morning, her publicist told CNN.
Gabor, 93, was taken by ambulance from her Bel Air, California, home to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she had undergone hip replacement surgery earlier this summer, publicist John Blanchette said Tuesday.
She was hospitalized for several days earlier this month for complications relating to the surgery, he said.
Her husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, was "very agitated" after calling for an ambulance Tuesday morning, he said.
Gabor had returned home from the hospital two weeks ago because she "wants to spend her final days at her home," Blanchette said at the time.
She spent three weeks in the hospital after breaking her hip in a fall from her bed on July 17.
She has been frail and "pretty much confined to a wheelchair" since a 2002 car accident, said Von Anhalt. The crash happened when the car in which she was riding with her hairdresser slammed into a light pole on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The glamorous Hungarian-born actress, the second of the three celebrated Gabor sisters, is most famous for her many marriages. Among her husbands was Oscar-winning actor George Sanders.
Her more prominent films include John Huston's 1952 Toulouse-Lautrec biopic, "Moulin Rouge;" "The Story of Three Loves" in 1953; "The Girl in the Kremlin" in 1957; and Orson Welles' 1958 classic, "Touch of Evil."

I will never forget that skit when she was with Letterman in the car at the drive thru. Buck and Tea Party are idiots.
I love it when people slam things or people they know absolutely nothing about. Zero. I believe that falls in the category of "doesn't have the brains god gave a dead duck." Oh, wait, there's a better one. "If you stuck his brain up an ant's a_ _ it'd rattle around like a BB in a box car."
I never particularly cared for the Gabors but why should I bad mouth them??????
Nifty....ummmmmmmmmmmm its fun???
Condition is not life threatening.
Rest in peace girl, thanks for the memories!
betty white was the wife on green acres not zsa zsa... idiots
it was a Gabor -NOT Betty White.
Wasn't that Liz Taylor in Green Acres and Eva and Zsa Zsa in Petticoat Junction? I'm sure that's right. Yes, her husband is a Prince of some smaill principality in Slavic Europe. Zsa Zsa was not famous for being famous, she actually did acting and was well respected. She wasn't a very good acress, even Eva played herself in Petticoat Junction. Z made the talk show circuit every half decade. Dahling I love but you take your petticoats! Sleep well Dahling, its all behind you now.
Scuse me, but why does everything have to melt down into a shouting match when Tea Party is mentioned? I don't abide the Tea Party especially when they follow Glen Beck and Sarah Palin around, but this is all about Zsa Zsa and nothing else. Take it somewhere else, before I take you there!
Maybe the Prince gave her anti-freeze!!
sorry to hear that
For all those who have posted and siad "who is she", go ahead and read all the postings of those who know and respect her. Green Acres was definitely the best.
I still can recall all the trouble she caused during a routine traffic stop back in 1989 when she slapped a Beverly Hills policeman in the face. Long before there was Paris Hilton, there was her great-aunt, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and her sisters Eva and Magda. Gabor has been called the first celebrity to be famous solely for her celebrity. Like Hilton, she was gossip fodder before she had any accomplishments, at least by normal standards of accomplishment, and all aspects of her life have been covered in the tabloids. I'm afraid that the both of them in recent years have sadly disgraced the American dream when it comes to perception with fame and fortune. Tragic. :(
Don't be too hard on the young whippersnappers who don't know movie and television performers from the past. I don't know who half of the current supoosed "stars," endlessly in and out of rehab, are either. But, the more I read about them, I don't think I'm missing all that much.
She was beautiful, and as some people said here, smart enough to act dumb. She had some movie credits, but was never an Oscar winner, by far! But what terrific personality. The think I think best characterized her was that she knew she was limited in talent, and she made a career of poking fun at her own limitations – and she was great at that! Today, a lot of the "stars" have limited talent, but they take themselves incredibly seriously because they know that the stunts and spectacular special effects will carry them through, so that people will not notice they have no personality or talent.
A memory of happier times. Yes, she's Paris Hilton, but with talent, a sense of humor, a work ethic, and a personality. Otherwise they are pretty much the same.
