men and lesbians from adopting.

I hope the appeals court made its decision based on logic and compassion (the two do mix) and not for political reasons. As for where American laws came from, that's easy – the Magna Carta and Alfred the Great. Biblical claims are urban legend, nothing more. As for the slippery slope, if it exists at all, we passed that point a very long time ago. As any kid could tell you, the trick is in knowing how to slide. (I know it is a figure of speech but the logic is the same. The easiest way to lose control is to backlash. Instability comes from fear. The slope is rarely as dangerous as the slider's reactions. Oh, and you can't slide uphill, no matter how slippery the slope you're on.)
Gays and lesbians are sick people and need psychiatric help. There so called weddins need to be banned because a true wedding is between a man and a woman. All adoptions should be banned from these sick people and if they have children with them they should be taken from them and given to a true family to be raised with true values. They need help with there illnes and not be urged on.
Gary, time to educate yourself!!! Gays and Lesbians are great people and make incredible parents! Unlike straight people who can breed have kids left and right, then put them up for adoption.. We feel very blessed to have the opportunity to give these kids that "Straight" people didn't want or weren't able to care for, or shouldn't have them! Be grateful that some people are out here and want to take these children and give them loving homes!!!!
I am a proud gay father! I adopted my son in CA where gay adoptions are legal. I think it is time for people like Gary to realize that Gay people are not SICK people, but human beings that have been pushed to the back of the Bus just like the whites did with people of color. I saved my son from "Straight" people who were very SICK! They abused themselves by using Crystal Meth and using it while pregnant with my son. My son is never going to have a shot at a normal life unfortunately because of what they did to him. I have always wanted to be a father and adopted my son knowing that there would be some very difficult times in our future!! We are getting through those hurdles! I love being a father and I am a GREAT DAD!!!! It is very much against our rights as HUMANS not to have the same rights as everyone else!!! Florida is the only state remaining that doesn't allow Gays, Lesbians and Trans-gendered people to adopt!! It is 2010 it is time to open your minds and educate ourselves on what it truly is to be Gay!!!
god blessed america and bless the gays!!! wooott!! we keep moving forward!!
