I live In the L.A area Hollywood to be precise and It was ridiculously hot today to be in L.A and i was born and raised in the area. I am so glad its now cooling down.

If anyone has any more doubts about global warming just check out the polar ice caps and the melt rate. Should be edifying for anyone. Even a doubter with limited understanding of the issue and the underlying science.

My condolences to all in LA! For the first time in months, Houston had a low below 70 thanks to the first cool front (ahhhhhhhh). May California be as blessed soon.
Whether global warming is real or not, practicality would suggest it can't be good for the earth with all the junk humans spew in to the air. To "change our ways" would be expensive and uncomfortable for the necessary lifestyle changes – easier to ignore the 95% of scientist who claim global warming is happening. Denial should be able to squeek us through another year or two...

Mr. Goldfinger67, just because you have a limited knowledge of the science behind the global warming issue, doesn't give you the right to frefute it's validity and to ridicule, as 8dog quoted ,the 95% of scientists who support it. It's been my experience that people who cannot understand something either dismisses it as false or ridicules it. Read a science book.
