Andrew Breitbart has supported James O'Keefe in the past.
Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart says activist James O'Keefe owes his supporters an explanation for his failed attempt to "punk" a CNN correspondent.
Breitbart helped catapult O'Keefe's conservative agenda into the public eye by posting O'Keefe's series of undercover videos inside ACORN offices on his website, BigGovernment.com. O'Keefe has also contributed columns to BigGovernment.com, one of six websites run by the influential conservative.
But now, Breitbart is rebuking the man once regarded as his "protege" for the now-infamous "boating incident" targeting CNN correspondent Abbie Boudreau. Hidden cameras were supposed to capture O'Keefe attempting to seduce her, but the plot fizzled when an assistant to O'Keefe told Boudreau and she refused to board the boat.
Breitbart, who appears in CNN's upcoming documentary about the young conservative activist movement, "Right on the Edge," provided CNN with this comment regarding O'Keefe's attempt to lure Boudreau onto a floating "palace of pleasure."
"I proudly stood behind James O'Keefe on his groundbreaking ACORN investigation. I also defended him when the media, including CNN - during a previous regime, "the Rick Sanchez era" - falsely reported the Sen. Mary Landrieu story as a "wiretapping" plot gone wrong.
In all these cases the left-leaning media exposed its obvious bias against James because of his contrarian point of view and because the targets of his investigations are protected institutions of the Democrat Media Complex.
However, in my dealings with Ms. Boudreau, she and her producer, Scott Zamost, conducted themselves professionally, and I believe James owes them a candid and public explanation.
From what I've read about this script, though not executed, it is patently gross and offensive. It's not his detractors to whom he also owes this public airing. It's to his legion of supporters."
conservative fascists are gods amonst men. Obey them and they will not be angry with the human race.
November 2nd! Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock
Dear neocons. Explain in detail how ACORN has personally affected you?
Oh right you can't.
All this verbal back and forth......... with feeling..........why not just shut up and post your comments on November 5 after the majority of voters have, after due consideration, chucked the Dems. If you choose to at that time, you can declare yourself smarter than the millions who have been patiently listening and watching the politicans and Washington itself, before they will have acted strongly to toss out what has been, and is, a big big political mistake........... ouch, the 'change' is more painful than the ailment was.
Just now I watched “right on the edge” the beginning I was happy that young people are active. Last part I am very disappointed
James O'Keefe this is called karma

That might be a start. If Mr. Breitbart and his ilk want anyone outside of the small groups of followers they have to take them seriously, they need to realize that "journalism" involves reporting honestly regardless of the ideology it happens to paint a more favorable picture of.
Brietbart seems to like Bourdeau so he wants an apology for just this? This punk needs to apologize for trying to do what he did to acorn – setting up a false situation and then editing the heck out of it to look bad. This is not journalism, except in the world of Fox News and their viewers (where, amazingly, it qualifies as fair and balanced).
A tag should always precede ANY mention of either James O'Keefe or Andrew Breitbart's names in ANY news articles;
"Mr. _____ has been found to distort video(s) through editing and/or omitting evidence from them in order to promote their own perception that classic media fails to represent their views... Although the cover-up has been exposed, the GOP has yet to reject his efforts and he is still considered a main stream activist despite these juvenile attempts to distort the truth and ultimately hurt the livelihood of innocents"
If CNN only cared to preface stories about these CLOWNS with the plain THRUTH... We might go somewhere.
As long as there are people like O'Keefe, Beck and Limbaugh out there our country's basic principal of equality, regardless of race, national origin and religion is in grave danger. Luckily intelligent people see right through these people and quickly realize that they are nothing more than a bunch of racist bigots. They are their own worst enemies because they all preach the same thing...lies.
While the Christian Right keep telling voters how much they love Jesus, they keep hurting others with their lies and hoax. They are a bunch of A**holes and should be ashame to themselves. How would they face GOD when the judgement day comes as they believe. They hijack the true Christianity for their own gains. Really Sad!
Give O'Keefe a break – he got hung out to dry by Fox News once he got caught. It's no different than when spies working on behalf of governments get caught and their governments deny all knowledge of their activities. If O'Keefe's move this time had worked, Fox News would be trumpeting him as a hero. Better luck next time, Fox.
