Kimani Washington faces weapons charges in connection with the shooting deaths.
A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with the shooting deaths of four people, including a toddler, in Boston Tuesday, police said Saturday.
Kimani Washington, 35, was arrested without incident Friday night in an apartment complex in Manchester, New Hampshire, police there said. He is being held in New Hampshire pending his arraignment at Manchester District Court on a fugitive from justice charge.
"Today should serve as a warning to all those who seek to harm others,"
said Boston Mayor Thomas Menino. "Our offices will not rest until you are hunted down, captured and locked up."
In Massachusetts, Washington faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and receiving a stolen motor vehicle in connection with the shooting, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said.
The brutal shootings occurred on Sept. 28 around 1:15 a.m. in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston.
The shootings did not appear to be random, District Attorney Dan Conley said earlier this week. The individuals were found lying in the street - one of them naked. He has not been charged with murder.
Police identified the victims as Eyanna Louise Flonory, 21, her 2-year-old son, Amanihotep Smith, Simba Martin, 21, and Lavaughan Washum-Garrison, 22, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
A fifth person was brought to the hospital in critical condition.
The police commissioner declined to comment on whether Washington may have been the shooter in this case. He also refused to say whether police have any other suspects.
no god would let all this killing happen..wake up people
Ah yes, the good old "god gave us free will" excuse. Your god gave us free will to choose to "love" him. Right. Here's what gets me about free will: your god also has free will. He is the all-powerful creator of the universe. He can do anything. Yet he chose to ignore the terrified cries of this innocent toddler? What kind of a god could ignore a baby's cries? I want nothing to do with such a god. I would rather spend an eternity in a hell than even one second with a god who will not step in and save an innocent baby. Good day.

God thinks BEYOND our thinking; He's ways are BEYOND our ways. And I tell you, He has a reason for letting things happen but you can never comprehend them until you learn to BELIEVE in HIM.
What a handy explanation – "he thinks beyond our thinking." The simple truth is that he ignored the cries of this terrified baby being murdered. Some god you have. Good day.
God bless America and our growing insensitivity to tragedy. A baby was killed and someone compares the death to a mosquito? Everyone is a cyber comedian these days. **SMH**
Why is 1/6th of the population doing 90% of the heinous crimes in this country ?
it's Mumia Al Jabbar
If I saw this guy in a parking lot I would run the other way. Just saying if the people you hang out with look this scary maybe you need new friends.
That said, if the stupid drugged out parents hadn't been doing nasty things they and their child would be alive.
Wait a minute: a MALE NE-GRO who shot people?
You cannot be serious!
I have notice that most – if not all – "religious" people do not rise up to what a real religion should be, they instead, drag religion down to their level. In other words, their "religion" is just a Vail to hide their hypocrisy.....
Get a rope!
the law doesn't stop the criminals to do crimes. ironically, it does to law abiding citizens who can't afford a licensed gun to protect themselves from those criminal.
Then, Tricky Ricky must be right, gun laws must be changed.
Jeff, all suffering is caused by sin - either the sin committed by the sufferer himself or the sin others. God does not "allow" or "disallow" suffering but gives us all free will to obey or disobey him. God does, however, bring good from all human suffering.
Along that same line, God allows weeds to grow among good fruit of His harvest (why we have criminals on Earth), but He prunes and cares for the good fruit. It took me years to understand this - I hope my post helps.
So this toddler didn't deserve to be cared for because the child was not good fruit?
ARE YOU FOR REAL ? WHERE THE HELL WAS GOD WHEN INNOCENT PEOPLE AND A CHILD WERE BEING MURDERED ?
PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
Hang him like they use to hang his ancestors.
