The Coast Guard safely rescued six men Monday who were stranded in a 32-foot boat 120 miles east of Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Coast Guard said in a press release.
The six men were rescued after the Coast Guard searched for approximately 24 hours and a total of 3,200 square miles.

Thank goodness they found them!~BUT remember~THERE is EXACTLY why we NEED Govt.and taxes~to PAY for them~without Govt.~no one would BE THERE when we get in a mess!NOBODY TO RESCUE US WITHOUT THE MONEY&MEN&EQUIPMENT OUR TAX MONEY HAS TO PAY FOR!~I personally do NOT want to call EMERGENCY 911 AND HAVE NOBODY ANSWER BECAUSE THERE IS NO TAX MONEY TO PAY FOR IT AND NO GOVT TO RUN IT! LORD!
I wonder what they were doing out there, lol.
Travis, I wonder as well what they were doing that far out in the water!
True~one could wonder,I suppose, what the fellows were doing out there~but probably nothing wrong~as in "probably best to see a lot of situations as "glass half full~rather than half empty" till we would know something different.
That's actually not unusual for deep sea fishing. You need to be at least 75 miles for certain fish, and it's not unusual to be out that far, even for a day trip.
Happy to have u all back safe and sound with your familys, i cant imangine anything more scary then to be lost at sea, one question with all your fancy sos equipment what happened? why wasnt any of it used?
32 foot boat $300,000....offshore fishing equipment $20,000 ....fishing electronics $30,000....satelite phone...priceless
@greg i thought the same thing. hey sherri go fill your glass you seem a pint or two low. hnw much do you think it cost taxpayers to find the skipper and giligan?
