A federal judge in Florida has ruled a multistate challenge to the the sweeping congressional health care reform law can proceed.
Florida is challenging large parts of the bill signed by President Obama earlier this year, including the individual mandate that requires people to be insured, or face severe financial penalties.
The state's attorney general, Bill McCollum, who filed the constitutional challenge, applauded the judge's decision.
Going to try again with a comment on this Healthcare issue.~its just so important that everybody really NEEDS to talk about it~and be SURE they understand it completely! Some have said they believe that if this HC Bill DOES get ruined, then it will NOT GET REPLACED!~and, that if the Republicans REALLY wanted ANY Health Care law~then they would have DONE IT LONG AGO!~I think that assesment of the situation IS correct.~seeing as how Democratic Presidents`had been trying to pass Health care for us~for 100 years or more~with no luck!~we SHOULD all be able to Remember what the Republicans did to Bill an Hillary Clinton when THEY tried hard to get it passed for us!~AND NOT ONE THING WAS THEN DONE ABOUT IT IN ALL THE YEARS BOTH BUSHES WERE IN THE WHSE!~that probably pretty well covers what will happen if they can get rid of THIS BILL THATS ALREADY LAW NOW!
@Jim B.~ explain a little more what part of that equation you are talking about for sure.~its just that I can think of a couple different ways to look at what You said.
People are so selfish and ignorant.
Sherri W.W. When the price of gasoline was $4.00 a gallon the cost of groceries increased. The grocery store people attributed it to the cost of gasoline being high.
When the cost of gasoline went back down to $2.00 a gallon, the cost of groceries remained the same.
Saying the cost of health insurance is high and attributing it to some reason, then saying once the reason is removed the cost will go down is not true.
You should try 'save a lot' beans are 2 for a dollar and your full of them.
I support health care because doing nothing got us here.
andropolis. First of all I don't drink alcohol and my I.Q. is much higher than yours and most others.
You gave your insurance rate in weeks (nice move, minimize as much as possible to make your argument appear valid) then stated your rate as a monthly rate. So eight dollars a month to three hundred and fifty a month since 1975. That sounds right when you consider all the other numbers involved.
I refer to period of oh, 6 months ago until now. You actually are stupid enough to believe your health insurance rate will now magically go down because of Obamacare. You are a very naive person, who has disregarded all that I have written.
Please do not comment to me anymore, I don't have time to waste on fools. And your name is Greek.
andropolis. I do care about black people. But that doesn't mean 30 million poor people should be allowed free healthcare at the expense of all the others.
1). I believe medical malpractice lawsuits should be against the states only. That way juries can way how much money to award based on the effect it will have on all people in their communities.
2). I believe the cost of healthcare should be cut 50% across the board.
3). Health insurance cost should be cut based on the results of steps one and two.
But it takes alot of work and alot of people to go through all the numbers to do the readjustment.
But saying someone is a racist is the typical response from an idiot.
