From North to South Pole to Everest in one year

Arctic explorer Eric Larsen has spent the past 15 years of his life traveling to some of the most remote places on earth. He even sent the first tweet from the North Pole on Earth Day.

Larsen reached the top of the Mount Everest on Friday. He talks to American Morning's Kiran Chetry about his 'Save the Poles' expedition to focus attention on global warming.

I hope that SOMEBODY~maybe this man~can make people understand how Global Warming is so dangerous to our whole way of life! The fact that there are so many people out there spouting off that there is no such thing~and the fact that some of these people are trying to be in positions where they could have influence on climate and energy legislation,SHOULD scare a LOT of folks into action! it doesn`t take anybody very smart to see that our ice is melting!~and that we only get one chance to stop it,or at least slow it down considerably!~We cannot wait until its all gone, and our way of life with it,to say"oh gee~we shoulda listened!!"
