Glad it wasn't your mother, sister, wife, or child that was killed. Then it might not seem like a joke.

You're all missing the point here. It's not about guns, it's about what's happening to us as a society that we are driven to such extremes? The shooter was obviously upset to the point feeling their only recourse was to kill. The problem that needs to be addressed is how to learn to live with and be respectfull of one another

Assuming the shooter was a he, if he shot them BECAUSE they were female, than it should be investigated as a hate crime.

I realize that it's not the guns that kill people, but the people. BUT, don't you think that not everyone is mature enough to handle a gun & will feel a little "tougher" with a gun in their pocket? My sister was just threatened to be shot at a grocery store for telling a guy that he shouldn't be rude to kids after he told her kids to get the "F" out of his way. Really? That's what the world has come to? SOME people with the guns feel they can do/say whatever they want because they know they have the backup in their pocket. Personally, I'd rather lose the right to carry, than my right to live.

Those that blame the lack of gun control are very gullible. You refuse to believe statistics showing lower occurance where legal. People that do these things didn't buy the gun legally any way. Humanity will reign, with or without guns.learn humanity and love each other.

It's amazing to see all the callous comments. Two women went to work and then got shot and killed. Yeah, that's hilarious. I'm sure if it was your mother, wife or daughter you'd think it was appropriate to make light of it. It is sickening.

First off thoughts and prayers to the vicitims families. Now, are you people for real? When are people in this country going to wake up and take responsibility for their own actions, and place blame where it needs to be placed. Outlaw guns, we need the Guberment to protect us from guns, give me a break. Wake up people.

The Gun! A mechanism for transporting a projectile at high velocity. That is the sole and only function of the gun. The projectile is designed to destroy most things it comes into contact with – animal, plant or human. Yet, we want to own and operate this device and big business is producing thousands of these as we speak.

To all those saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people" – I say, let's not give them the tools then. I say that we destroy every legal or illegal weapon in this land. Stop the production of them as "what went around has come around" Your tools of destruction have come back to destroy you!

I agree. Why does CNN even allow comments on certain articles...like this one? Sometimes I'll scroll down to see what heartless, cruel, ignorant comments are written by those who hide behind their keyboards and type their venom. I'm never surprised at what I find. This is the state of 'humanity' today – very sad. Let's just hope that the victims' families and friends don't bother to read the trash here.
