Four buildings on The Ohio State University campus were evacuated Tuesday after the FBI's Columbus, Ohio, bureau notified the university it had received an anonymous message that explosives were placed in the buildings, authorities said.
Classes in the three academic buildings involved were canceled and the library was closed until at least 5 p.m. or until the investigation is complete, according to Vernon Baisden, the university's director of public safety.
The university's alert system was activated after it learned of the threat about 8:20 a.m. ET, officials said.

Just remember then one who did this, will pay dearly when caught-and most certain TESTS will be rescheduled. We parents being a distance away are not at all finding this funny. And to OSU SAFETY-how smart is it to have all those other students out there going to classes? If it had been real and did happen? You'd have a a total mess on your hands and lawsuits for NOT cancelling ALL CLASSES or that time period.

As an OSU student, I actually had a class (3 hour Chem lab) that was CONNECTED to one of the buildings threatened. (For any students, I was in Celeste which is connected to McPherson.) I had to go past yellow police tape to go through a chain of buildings to get to my class. I wasn't particularly enthused.
And, jeez, guys. Ohio State is steadily on the increase to be one of the very top public universities in the nation. Take it from an honors electrical and computer engineer. Don't let your ignorance convince you that OSU is nothing but a drunk football school. That's Terrelle Pryor - we try to distance ourselves from that bum.
