President Barack Obama received 12 stitches Friday after being inadvertently hit with an opposing player's elbow in the lip while playing basketball with friends and family, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.
The stitches were administered by the White House Medical Unit.
The medical procedure was done in the doctor's office on the ground floor of the White House.

I think Mr President has the right to play basketball like any other person,saying ugly things about this is unfair to him. Wishing Mr President speedy recovery.
It's obvious that the person who hit him in the lip didn't support the President and is obviously a racist.

He got just an elbow in the face, well that hurts less than the slap in the face that the Americans have taken from him! He is ruining the White House Imperial Image. A garden in the back, a swingset?? Then now he has his mother in law living in the White House on our dime! All he has done is grief and aggrevation for the American People, he loves other countries more than ours. Any man that won't put his hand over his heart for the Pledge of Alligance is no man that should be running our country. Ughhh!!!

You would think that with all that is going on in the world and here in the United States that the president would have more importanta stuff to do then play basketball or have concerts in the white house or fly half way across the world to put a word in for the Olympics. I'm fed up with Obama using our tax dollers so he can have fun at our expense. It's time for the most powerful man in the world to stand up and take charge of his country. I am not happy about ANYTHING he has done in office or anything he is trying to do. In my opinion he acts like he is back in his four years of college. TIME TO GROW UP MR. PRESIDENT!!!
