    Playing basketball while we teeter on the verge of war with North Korea and 10% unemployment for 2 years. He is hard at work I see.

      there are safer ways to excercise than 2 on 2 basketball – jogging comes to mind (you only need like an hour a day)...

      smitty: by not regulating housing his party created the crisis why do i need to fix it? I'm already going to suffer from the things his administration does like not extending tax cuts or making work pay (the one good thing he did)? Do you realize the inflation higher taxes is going to create? I think just holding a job is enough in this economy and he has the best job in the world.

      so now we're going to critique the President's exercise regimen: arguably the most powerful man on earth–and you want to attack his cardio schedule?

      @paulie:
      i agree: it's tough. the president is "one of the people, elected by the people", and i don't want to take-away the human factor. i understand your words but know that it will never be "clean" when 295 million people are involved.

      Well, with the military turning away record numbers of Americans due to their not being physically fit enough to even go through BT, I guess it's good that he's exercising – somebody will have to fight that war now won't they?

    I think it is admirable that we have a chief executive who is setting an example of physical fitness for the nation.
    As a country of fat people, we need to examine how we live.
    Instead of participating in the mob mentality of mass consumerism, let's try to become a fit nation.

      To read other comments, some people believe a president should never exercise, or leave the Oval Office for that matter...

      After all, we hired him to run the country, not be alive...
