WikiLeaks founder Assange suspected of sex crimes

Interpol has issued an international warrant at the request of a Swedish court for the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in connection with alleged sex crimes.

The Stockholm Criminal Court last week issued an international arrest warrant for Assange on probable cause, saying he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force. Sweden asked Interpol to post a "Red Notice" after a judge approved a motion to bring him into custody.

The arrest warrant stems from allegations made against Assange, who is Australian, in August. In a November, Assange's lawyer said the sex-crime charges stem from consensual sexual relationships his client had with two women.

So somebody decides to get the world's biggest crooks and liars exposed. Suddenly there's accusations and a smear campaign to effectively destroy the person in every way possible. I remember those tactics from elementary school...

Isn't a leaky pee-pee just a symptom of a more serious disease? ditto the real wikileaks. Our entire system is corrupt beyond repair, worldwide. The system is the disease, wiki is just a symptom.

Any US citizen who takes wikileaks side in this situation should be charged with treason.

If the pen is mightier than the sword, and if those who live by the sword die by the sword, then we can expect to hear some good news any day about Mr. Assange.

Julian Assange is just handing us the information that we already knew or suspected. No surprise.

I am so okay with this, if it didn't seem mean and insidious. Why is this guy divulging such information? Is he doing such for the greater good? Or, is he just being a creep?

CNN is a crap pit because people on here don't think Assange is some kind of hero? I guess messageboards all suck unless they agree with your weird and warped reasoning.

    (laughter directed towards alester)

You seem to be speaking in a sentence structure that no English native would ever use.

not true, CNN is not just American network online, anybody can post, so it doesn't reflect what people in US think about Assange. anybody can impersonate anyone in any country, so its a crap pit because of that. it should implement some kind of identification to keep some morons out.

Two points, alester. One, I don't know you, so "again" seems to make little sense. Two, your usage of "not American" is more reminiscient of how a romance language would form sentence structure.

That being said, reading your other points we're really on the same side of this issue. I just thought my observation was laced with irony.
