Interpol has issued an international warrant at the request of a Swedish court for the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in connection with alleged sex crimes.
The Stockholm Criminal Court last week issued an international arrest warrant for Assange on probable cause, saying he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force. Sweden asked Interpol to post a "Red Notice" after a judge approved a motion to bring him into custody.
The arrest warrant stems from allegations made against Assange, who is Australian, in August. In a November, Assange's lawyer said the sex-crime charges stem from consensual sexual relationships his client had with two women.

Why don't you ask WikiLeaks about the hunt for Bin Laden. I'm sure the info is in there somewhere but if it makes the US look good then you sure the heck won't find it on their public side.

It's either SOP character assassination or the dude is a rapist. Given that it's the Swiss and INTERPOL I'm leaning toward the later. Given that he's targeting banks now, it may well be the former. No one will really know EVER. But the haters on both sides will continue to hide in their burrows and talk out of their burros.
Not really – I don’t care either way. If he is truly guilty of the charges brought against him, punish him accordingly. If not, let him go. As far as Wikileaks, the US NEEDS Wikileaks. Our government has become too accustomed to doing whatever it pleases at the expense of civilians (American and others) without fear of condemnation for lack of a ‘paper trail’.
However, Assange, et al needs to be cognizant of releasing actual information which would create a security risk to the nation and its endeavors. As it stands, he’s been walking a very fine line. One step over and the Gov’t will toss him away. They’re waiting, chomping at the bit to do so but Assange has been careful to date.
As I said – these latest charges may take Assange off of the US’s hands without our direct involvement. A win/win for our government. Again – character assassination is not beyond the scope of reality here.
yeah, it may seem that way, but do you honestly think sending him away will prevent his colleagues from releasing the information for him? even if it is an attempt to get rid of him, it doesn't matter, someone else will just follow in his footsteps.

Sadly, Assange thinks he is playing a video game whereas his actions, and those of his organization, are hurting much more than the USA. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Israel…they are all being hurt. Does anyone really think Iran is happy to see their Arab brothers want them destroyed? If the world was so full of conspiracies, Assange would have been dead long ago. I am sure Mossad and a number of other agencies would love to have his head. The fact that he is alive is a testament to civilized society. Notice that he and his gurus haven’t posted stuff against Iran, North Korea, or any other 3rd world nations that don’t play by the same civilized rules. As for dreamt up charges against him, I am again pretty sure that there would be much worse coming his way if there was a conspiracy to quiet or discredit him. I think you need to stop watching fox news and buy a history book.
1.) Ireland never asked for a bailout, it took one because the IMF and the EU forced it too (too pander to the markets).
2.) America only entered WWI at rthe very end and didn't effect the outcome.
3.) The Russians broke hitlers back in europe not America, though stalin was just as bad.
4.) Wikileaks haven't published anything from Iran or North Korea because nobody from their intelligence agencies have given wikkileaks info like what happened in the US
