A missing Alabama boy has been found, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd has confirmed.
The father of 3-year-old Jonathan Chase DeBlase provided information that led authorities to the boy's skeletal remains in Vancleave, Mississippi. Jonathan's sister, Natalie, is still missing.
The father, John Joseph DeBlase, is in custody, authorities said.
The search for the missing boy began weeks ago, but police believe no one has seen him since March - around when, they believe, he was killed, possibly by his parents.

Somebody please tell me , how can u kill ur own children ?
Dear God, why are people like these so blessed as to have multiple children? My daughter had 2 tubal pregnancies and cannot have anymore kids without high $ medical intervention. She has one child and unlikely to ever have more, but these people are so unappreciative of what they have that they KILL them! There is a separate level of hell for his kind! Shame, shame!!!
So very sad these rotten ba$tards should be torchered and killed slowly. Prayers for the family. The neighbors or friends should have said or done something how could nobody have seen anything.
i went to school with heather and knew her very well. she was very, very smart and VERY much blind. I was not her biggest fan but she cared very very much about right and wrong –she was always very concerned about the people who copied homework. Most people made fun of her blindness; she was very lonely. I am saddened but not wholly surprised to hear that she has fallen victim (that at least cannot be disputed) to such a sinister relationship. Bless everyone involved. I wonder what has happened to her baby
children. I have been following this story ever since day one hoping for a better outcome. This just makes me sick to the stomach! Somebody need to torture them the way they tortured these babies!
The worst of it is not the physical, in my estimation. The heinousness is the emotional part before the release of death. As a result, I feel that no one can do to this couple what they did to the babies, except this couple's own parents.
Another story of how a community has failed itself. Let this serve as solemn reminder to speak up for those who are unable. 6 months and no one wondered where to little kids were? Heartbreaking.
It is unfathomable to me how any parent could have the heart - or be heartless enough - to hurt any child to he point of injury or death, regardless of whose child it is. Humans are worse than many animals. How do you drain the life from a child knowing full well what you're doing without the enormity and finality of the moment hitting you in the face and making you stop and help the child?
Hang him high!
Its sad that there are SO many GOOD people who cannot have kids, to think that there are people who DO have kids with whom they abuse kill or worse.....its heartwrenching!
