Time for us to send another few billion dollars in aid money paid for by U.S. tax payers.

Damn right. I pay taxes also, and I would be glad if they went to the needy instead of the rich

I think that we should all be praying for the people of Chile instead of worrying about what we might have to do to help, or worrying that it might be the end of days. For God's sake, people, really? Seriously? Come on. Stop thinking about yourselves for just a minute and say a prayer!! The end will be when it will be, no use in worrying about it. And earthquakes always seem to come in clusters.

Isn't it interesting that the 7.1 IS NOT a Richter scale measure. They stopped reporting the actual scientific Richter Scale measurements of earthquakes some time ago. Here's the official meaning of a 7.1: Major/7.0-7.9/Serious damage over large areas/ 18 per year

What sickens me is the fact that people worry about the $$$ first. Is there a price for life? If we have the capacity, should we not help? Its maddening that anyone would consider not sending as much as possible to help those in need, regardless of situation.

    Be human.

The end of the world is coming. This is all due to Spanish Conquistadors stealing all the gold from Peru and other South American Countries. These earthquakes are the GODS awakening to avenge our ancestors.

Keep predicting something long enough and eventually you'll be right – maybe.....Let's keep focused on the things that are in our control in our own communities and try to make the world a better place while we are here. Let God worry about the rest.
