Police: Found bag may be Loughner's; crime scene processing complete

Police believe they may have found a black bag that caused an argument between Arizona shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner and his father hours before Loughner allegedly shot 19 people, killing six and wounding 13, authorities said Thursday.

A teenager out walking his dog found the bag in a "wash," or dried river bed, on Thursday morning, and turned it over to a neighbor, who called police, Pima County Sheriff's Department Capt. Chris Nanos said. The bag was found near where Loughner's family lives, he said.

On Wednesday, Richard Kastigar, bureau chief for the sheriff's department, said investigators were looking for a black bag Loughner was carrying early Saturday when he had a brief discussion with his father, Randy Loughner, in the Loughners' front yard.

@BuzzLightyear: I would have to agree that the great supporters of peace do tend to have a shorter lifespan. However, I don't believe Stephen King shot John Lennon, working with Nixon and Regan. I especially do not agree that Stephen Kings alleged murder of John Lennon has anything to do with these shootings. Just an interesting subplot.

I don't believe Stephen King shot John Lennon, either. It was Mark David Chapman.

My big question is where he got the money to afford that gun, accessories and did his parents know he had it. I also read another report that he owned another type of gun as well. If his parents communicated he was out of control then why didn't they have him committed?
