Report: Palestinians agreed to give up most of East Jerusalem

Palestinian negotiators agreed to give up large swaths of East Jerusalem to Israel during negotiations dating back to 2008, the Al-Jazeera network said Sunday, suggesting Palestinians have been willing to offer much larger concessions in private than what was previously acknowledged in public.

The report is based on a trove of nearly 1,700 internal documents the network said it had obtained. Al-Jazeera did not disclose the source of the material, nor did it say how the documents came into its possession. It said it will be releasing what it has between Sunday and Wednesday of this week.

The papers, some of which were posted on the network's website, shed new light on the details of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from 1999 through last year. They could not be immediately verified by CNN.

The documents outline meetings between Israeli, Palestinian and U.S. officials in which Palestinian negotiators offered in 2008 to relinquish claims on nearly all of the settlements built in East Jerusalem.

The offer was flatly rejected by the Israeli side, according to the posted documents.

Mmmmm...I don't recall anyone ragging on Moses' wife. The vast majority don't even know she was a black woman. If you ever want to make a Jews mad, remind them.

Why would Jews shouldn't get angry about Moses wife, about their heritage, about being God's people. The Jewish race as a whole range from white to African black. Geneticist have found Aaron's priestly gene among nomadic tribes in Africa who
live by strict Jewish standards and
faith. Further we are all descendents from a Jew named Noah and his household if you hold that the biblical flood as true for it was his household only that was untouched by God's wrath. So really there's a bit of Jew in all of us!

Yep, you use that fact to insult the truth that the greatest prophet outside of Jesus was married to a black woman!

@Mmmmm...Moses predated Israel, Jerusalem, and Jews. The term 'Jew' came about when it became popular for foreigners to refer to an Israelite from Jerusalem as a 'Jew'. In time this caught on even among Israelites as they became dependant on foreign nations even though their own law-covenant with God forbade doing so.(even to this very day) The same thing happened when Europeans first came to America thinking it was India. The term "Indian" was coined to describe native peoples, and even these native American's call themselves 'Indians'. Jesus wasn't a Jew proper. He was a Galilean and was looked down upon by the Jews. Jews would even make fun of the way Galileans thspoke with a lithspe. Most of Jesus early followers were also not from Jerusalem proper, and not long after Jesus died, the Jews would hunt them down like animals for sport. (Paul, before converting to Christianity, was a Jew Pharisee, and admitted being involved in this blood sport with them) //Aaron's body was found? When? where?

You're a lying dog. Moses is a descendent of Abraham. Moses does not predate the nation of the israelites which consist of descendants of Jacob's 12 sons.

Have you read Paul's writings? The man was an intellect and a roman citizen a lawyer and highly schooled and trained Jewish scholar who was taught by the best if the best regarding the word of God and who had zeal for God. His zeal for God indicates a stubborness for truth. He was also held in high esteem by his Jewish peers. No one converted Paul. Paul links the fulfilment of the Judaic
faith. He is a great Jewish man who writings and accomplishments are highly regarded even today. You are trying to discredit his accomplishments as a Jew.

Phil, you are a knucklehead, Jesus is a Jew. He was proper enough to read scripture in the synagogues, taught in the synagogues, lecture in the synagugues. He sat at the table and ate with the Pharisees and Saducees two groups who made sure never ever to mingle with sinners. Jesus was righteous even pontius Pilate could find no wrong in him. Jesus was a rabboni. Jesus is a descendent from royal line of King David that goes back to the House of Judah and also a son of Jacob. While Jesus had many enemies no one has ever disputed his Jewish heritage or
lineage or the fact that he was a
      rabbi.

Of course I meant Moses predated the nation of Israel. Jacob, also named Israel, came before Moses. (smile)

Why are you so disappointed with your heritage? Remove the white dunce cap off your head which insists on scrabbling the truth. Moses is from the house of Levi, a son of Jacob.

The nation of Israelites were In a foreign land where they were persecuted for their numbers and power and was enslaved by the Egyptians. Moses did not predate the nation of isarael.

The Jews are the only persons on earth where race, creed, and state are divinely one in the same: a people of God. It is really a shame to see so many Jewish people abandon such thrice beauty to become atheistic crassness.
