The five most popular stories on CNN.com in the past 24 hours, according to NewsPulse.

Indiana mother killed kids, self, police say: An Indiana woman shot her three children and set the family's house on fire before turning the gun on herself, police said.

Critics slam paper over graphic of governor: A Spanish-language newspaper in Georgia has drawn bipartisan criticism for publishing a doctored photograph depicting the state's new governor as a Nazi.

My take on how Christians should rethink sex: When it comes to sex, many Christians confuse the fences for the playground. We’ve created what I call the chastity cult. Married and single Christians alike put sex on a pedestal. We’re more serious and obsessed with the rules than we ought to be.

Serial killer likely in N.Y. slayings, police say: All four women found dead in Long Island, New York, last month were prostitutes who advertised on the website Craigslist, and were probably slain by a serial killer, police said.

It would be good if there was a serial killer that killed serial killers. Then there would be less victims. People rightly express hate toward child molesters, but rarely do people express hate towards serial killers.

Cesar...sure, we can hate certain people if we choose. Or, we could follow the advice given by the greatest man who ever lived: "Love what is good. Hate what is bad." It is possible to love a fellow human being and still hate what they do, especially if what they do is violent or perverted. We discipline our own children without showing them hatred for example. Hate is like heart poison.

@Philip: I don't think that people choose to hate. I just don't believe that human emotion is like a water facet that people. can turn on or off. We feel how we feel. For example, I hate Sirhan Sirhan. What business did he have killing RFK. He will rot in prison. Do I choose to hate him? No. I can't control how I feel.
