Charlie Sheen sues over show

Actor Charlie Sheen, fired from his hit comedy series, and his production company have filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre, the creator of "Two and a Half Men," a Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman said Thursday.

The lawsuit claims intentional interference with contractual relations, breach of contract and violation of the California labor code, among other allegations. The production company, 9th Step Productions, is a corporation formed by Sheen to contract out his acting services on the series, according to the lawsuit.

Warner Bros. Television fired Sheen on Monday.

100M?????????? Perhaps the 300 people that HE put out of a job based on his addictions should ALL file a class action suit against the loser boozer loser Sheen

@ Loretta, the "Two and a Half Men" crew will be paid their normal salary for the rest of the season, if you actually knew what you were talking about you would already know this. Get your facts straight before running your mouth. People like you calling him a "loser" does not help one bit. Addiction is a disease and needs to be cured. Im not saying that he is addicted to anything, he very well may just be acting out to get the attention.

Joel there's no need to slam a poster like that. Besides seems your facts are not straight anyway (kinda ironic) otherwise why would Sheen be seeking compensation for the entire cast and crew to be paid for 24 episodes?

He needs serious therapy and rehab...and not "rehab at home". That's like holding an AA meeting in a tavern...

For whatever reason and I do think it's probably substance abuse, Sheen is in serious meltdown. I just wish he would have his breakdown in private without the media fighting to give him the spotlight to "act out to get attention" in. It's incredibly pathetic and at the bottom of the whole thing, Sheen's a self absorbed narcissistic jerk anyway.

Pretty sure he had a morals clause in his contract. Would mean he violated the terms of the contract... I really cannot see how he can sue them since he brought all of this negative attenion to himself and basically embarassed his employers. If I went out there and started talking about this and that and was heavily associated with a company, service or even ok a TV show and was basically 'the representing face' of it, and everything I did was either breaking the law or ok.. what he did – then of course I would be fired. Also, if they did not fire him, it would be saying 'this is acceptable behavior' for our employees... yes we want you all to heavily invest in our circus.

I wouldn't be surprise if Sheen turns violent fairly soon. He's a lioser.

I hope for his sake he can soon see what is obvious to most of us. – that his life and actions are out of control. All his problems over the years likely resulted from using and boozing. Although he did it to himself, I still can't feel anything but pity for him (and he still thinks he's "winning").

    $100M lawsuit ... What's he smoking – Crack?

He undoubtedly is smoking it, mixing it in his food, and odds are, blended in that makeup he uses for his TV show to appear young and hip. Part off what he says he honestly believes, and part of what he says you can see him say, then pull his head back, lift his chin and pause – waiting to see if we are buying into it – which would further inflate his ego. I think it would help him to be snagged, dumped in the midddle of some harsh city, and made to survive w/o his wallet, name-reputation, or save-your-ass-again-buddies. Let him be reminded what the real world is like – where not having means everything you are – has to rise to be the damn best it can be – to survive. Your wits, your charsima, and backing off that gonna-get-your-ass-killed-ego a bit. Bet he would walk out humbled and totally changed. Dude needs a reality check. Hey! An idea for a new reality show (Reality Check)... yeah mail me a check if it takes off...

Doesn't matter if you like it, he might have a case since he was under contract and if they breached, they will have to pay. BIG. Hope you get the help you need Sheen.

Without knowing the specifics of his contract and any behavioral clauses in it. CHARLIE may have breached the contract first...that's for the lawyers to figure out..with his past behavior, I would think that there would be a clause like that..but who knows..actually..who cares?

Wanna bet they had a Morals Clause built in his contract? Would mean he violated it first.

In a tv interview he said crack smoking blew up in his face. and every time they show him on tv hes guzzling a bottle. No wonder he got fired! I dont feel the least bit sorry for him. Now hes just another big mouthed, drug addicted, alcoholic celebrity who cant see the error of his ways. And isnt smart enough to know when to shut up and stay out of the limelight. This lawsuit is a joke. Why cant he just admit he screwed up, then shut up and let it all cool down? Nothing but a stupid, arrogant a**. Carry on.

Heidi-ho' you need to practice what you preach. The courts in a case like this will not waste the peoples' time entertaining rhetoric...facts will be the order of the menu! This show was cancelled at peaked popularity, with wide 400 million dollar profit with every able bodied actor and crew ready to work...on the last day with no, none, nada previous complaints and without notice WB breach its contract with all staff of the show...WB should be lucky if this doesn't turn class action!

I gotta agree with Heidi-ho. The law suit has no merit, he is a druggie, but he shouldn't shut up. He's a fool people love to poke. Keep running your mouth Charlie, you amuse America!
