I imagine that sooner or later Barack Obama is going to get us into this war too, just for the sake of political correctness and to please the MIC(military-industrial-complex) in Washington,D.C. I get so aggravated at these idiots who say that it's our business to fight there although it's of no concern to us at all. If Sorkozy is so worried about it,let him send in his own military to fight if he has the guts to do so!!!

Don't you think its time to let other countries run their own governments, let their people topple them if they want to. American needs to stay out of other countries and try, for a change, to keep this one working.

I think the USA has an obligation to act.I know a lot of people will not like that just for the sound of it,but putting the feelings aside, here what it comes to at the end: The US is always carrying the flag of liberty and human rights in the world ( or at least this is what the goverment declare) ( I beleive in it by the way) however, if you want to be the leader of the world, then ur responsibilities will definitly increase toward the world. You cannot say I am the biggest democracy in the world and blind fold your self when a dectator does such in the 21 century. It sends the wrong message to other dectators and presents an incident that will not help US politics in the future. By the way, these weapons that he is killing insent people by them are made mostly by russia and western democracies, this by it self holds reposniblities against these countries. And for those of you who still think that the people in libya were cheering for 911, let me tell you ,you are big time wrong, most of the people over there feel bad and sorrow for 911, if you see few idiots saying otherwise on the news, it is because the news ageicies just want to bring the bad news and bad reporting to the US audience.
Anyhow, as one of you said, the people should bring their own freedon, even if they have been killed by a uthless dectaor, however, if it is the case, I think US should hold on to this policy and pull all the foreces from around the world.

@ali: democracy and world, ehn? Sounds wild! Anyways, we'd love to see that idea come fruitful. But the opposite has always shown different from the great idea where everyone has voice on state matters. This too shall pass soon.

I'm sorry for the cameraman killed in an ambush. Nevertheless I don't think is worth for US government to intervene with Islamic politic regardless of the fact that Muammar Gadhafi himself is not an Islamist. Haven't we learn the lesson from Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan might be a war of necessity given that it was once a haven for al-qaeda and its allies. After overthrowing the Taliban regime, the new government install in Afghanistan is not democractic as we think since it persecute apostasy in Islam , like incident in 2006 where a man was almost send to death due to his believe in christianity. There goes your Islamic democracy. The same goes for Iraq. The Dawa Party is shia Islamist Party Iraq is not as free as we thought. I don't think is worth while overthrowing Gadhafi knowingly there Islamist group out there that are worst than his regime. The US and its allies should remain neutral and not act hastily or the US will to have to pay more debt than we already had. If we were to invest in overthrowing Gadhafi than we need to find the least corrupted dictator like Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to run a muslim country knowingly that majority of muslim are oppose to the separation of mosque and state there's need secularize the muslim world by force if necessary.

And may Jesus forgive your ignorance. All of God's children are one in His eyes. You are a fool and your evil wishes will someday come back to haunt you and the ones YOU love. Shame on you!

Well, al-jazeera exposed all of those dictators since they started broadcasting, it doesn't need much of brain cells to figure it out, unless u r one of those mercenaries hired to kill the Libyan people. Al-Jazeera is the most successful channel not just in the middle east but globally and it's because of all the crew who risk their lifes to provide u and all of us with the facts and what really happens everywhere , my great condolences to his family and all cameramen all over the world. Go join Gaddafi, u guys will understand each other.
