Former Secretary of State Warren Christopher dead at 85

Former Secretary of State Warren Christopher died Friday at 85 from complications of kidney and bladder cancer, his family said.

Christopher was the secretary of state for President Bill Clinton. He served from 1993 to 1997, according to a biography by his law firm.

Before that, he served as the deputy secretary of state for President Jimmy Carter.

In 1981, Carter awarded Christopher with the Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award.

Christopher received the award for his role in the release of 52 American hostages in Iran.

    Sheesh! I can't even make a simole smiley face let alone the amaxing display of charachatures I have assymbled over two decades of online blogging. i am humbled. i am but a wisp in this wind of mediocrity. at least i adore Cicero. And Tullius. And i lost us...again. (shrug) Dagnabit...my shoulders are gettin sore.:)

    GM Jazz7...I'm not familiar with that song. Have you listened to one of Keiko's older CDs "Dream Walk"? That gal plays the piano like no other. Every single note is utterly perfect. Her talent gives me goose-bumps. And yeah, i dozed off. I'm just getting over a nasty cold and have been working long hours. Hay! The birds are chirping this morning!

      No I havent but thanks for the heads up get back to u tomorrow on that one . What do you do for a living and hope ur feelin better. I have a second job I do on thurday , friday and sunday nights at a deli so I wont get back till either tomorrow or maybe tonight. Did you see that Wonder Women Story blog ? I do like the LA cheerleaders but I grow up on wonder women so I prefer her of course "Linda Carter" takes me back to my innocence.
