It's so obvious what happened. She liked to party, and would chloroform Caylee to keep her quiet while she went to clubs. When she went to stay with her boyfriend, he wouldn't let her bring Caylee (he has admitted that), so Casey chloroformed Caylee, put her in the trunk and put duct tape over her mouth so if she woke up nobody would hear her. Oops. Chloroform is very tricky to use and it is easy to overdose someone. The kid died, and Casey rode around with her in the trunk for a while trying to figure out what to do. When the smell got too bad, she dumped the body and tried to abandon the car. So it's an accident, but still murder, because if somseone dies while you're cdommiting a felony (and chloroforming your kid would be felony assault), the law says you have committed murder even if you didn't really want the victim to die.

I think Manny has laid out the case and didn't charge the state of Florida hundreds of thousands of dollars. Innocent until proven guilty but come on.......common sense can solve this case. What a shame if this woman gets off and ends up walking.

It's so sad what she did Kaleigh deserved to Live a beautiful Life. Casey should have given her up or gave custody to her parents. She was a spoiled little girl and selfish. The amount of money it costs for the jury is ridiculous. She should stand up tell the truth and save the state all the money. These people in the world do the CRIME but don't stand up and admit it.

I don't get people like this. The law provides various ways for you to unload you kid on others. You can let the father take the kid, you can give it up for adoption. Heck, even the safe haven law allows for you to essentially dump your kid off at a police station, hospital, or fire station without the worry of prosecution. She should have just done this to the kid when she was born so she could go out and party all she wanted while at least having the decency to have given up the child to a family that would have loved and cared for it properly. Instead, she kills the girl. Good job...idiot.

As posted on my blog, http://www.commonsensicalamerican.blogspot.com, Obama has made this war a disaster with his lack leadership on this topic. He has let the Europeans take the spoils without letting American get any goodwill. We are bearing the brunt of this war in terms of cost and receiving nothing in return.
