Gotta Watch: Donald Trump

As MSNBC has said, Donald Trump is to politics what Charlie Sheen is to entertainment. You want to watch him just to see what he says next. He keeps questioning President Obama's birthplace, but he gets annoyed when anyone presses him on his "birther" theory. Trump has been a media magnet for years, and now he's dangling the prospect of a potential presidential run. In today's Gotta Watch, we take a look at some of Trump's greatest hits.

'Birther' controversy – Trump says his strengths as a potential candidate like in his stance on "jobs, the economy, and protecting our nation from OPEC, China and all these other countries that are ripping us off." And yet, he complains that, every time he's on TV, he's asked about the theory that President Obama wasn't born in the U.S. Check out this feisty exchange between Trump and CNN's Ali Velshi and Kyran Chetry.

What's in a Trump name? – From "stupid" to "blatherside," so many in the media have their own way to describe Donald Trump. CNN's Jeanne Moos takes a look.

Donald Trump said what?? - Sometimes it seems as though Trump says anything that comes to his mind. And it's not always nice. As he eyes a possible presidential run, CNN.com dug up some of the more zany things the mogul has said over the years.

Donald Trump accused the president of the United States of not having a American birth certificate. What are you talking about Mr. Trump, have you forgotten America 's history. European caucasian people coming to America with no birth-rights in America, and stealing the land from black people. How can you accused someone of doing what the Europeans have been doing the entire time.

Name me one, just one candidate that has even mentioned China, they pay no import tax, that alone would drop YOUR taxes enormously. We are in a war that was a vendeta for Bush because Sadaam threatened his father. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 but here we are. Needless death to thousands of our troops, broken families because of that and Cheney is still raking it in because Halburton is in every contract in the middle east. Forget the singer people, listen to the song. Obama is OK but he walks around like nothing is going on, yet drive around middle america and you see motels filled with families and kids studying like they were in the depression. Drastic? YES, but how much longer people How much longer.Drastic times call for drastic measures.

Hey Ace, Marge, you guys keep paying at the pump. I'll take a chance on Mr. Trump, you guys must be doing OK and don't realize how much of your hard earned pay you can keep if only you had the nerve to take a chance on a winner. If he looses he won't even feel it, Look at what your banks are doing have you checked your interest rate on your savings account lately, do you even have a savings account anymore, I don't, yet these politicians gave them all that money and this time they are keeping it and anything else they can get from you. The CEO of Chase retired and got 20 million as a gift, our money. And he isn't even working anymore, When did someone ever give that kind of money to make someone go away? WAKE-UP. TRUMP IS THE CHANGE OBAMA NEVER DREAMED OF.

    T-Rex....
Do you really think it's that simple? The Donald will become president, move in to the W.H. and overnight clean everything up? You do realize the President does not have absolute power in this country? Or in the world? There is a Congress, Senate, U.N., etc.
So he'll get in and when he can't change what HE wants, when HE wants he'll whine that the Senate (or whoever) won't let him.....whaaa whaaa whaaa.
The Donald has a voice, but so do I. His is just louder, and he has TV coverage. That doesn't make his opinions more important than mine.
He talks a bit about the world...OPEC, Iran, Iraq. But what about the U.S.? What is his stance on abortion? Gay rights? Clean Water act? Natural gas fracking? Unemployment benefits? Labor unions? HIV/Aids funding and research? What about things here at home that will affect your daily life and mine?
I just think it'a absurd for ANY candidate to think he can walk in and change it all his way with the flick of a hand.
    Get real.

These reporters are morons. They are basically saying because they don't think the birth of Barack is an issue...it's not an issue so someone can't be a serious candidate if they don't think the way Ted Turner does. Give me a break. Trump is going to have to put up with a lot of this crap but he knows what he's doing and if he's not just yanking our chain I think a bunch of liberals are going to really be up against a wall. Truths from Trump or nothing but lies from Barack (Barry). I think I'll take my chances with Trump. At least he addresses problems and doesn't just double talk about "hope".

Please people, listen, You don't have to love him, or even like him, just get your facts striaght before you open your mouths. Politics has become BIG business, Trump has NEVER declared bankruptcy, he is very succesful buisiness wise. You keep paying at the pump and NOBODY wants to address it, he is talking about everything we complain about everyday, no-one else is even addressing it or any of OUR needs. He is so rich he does'nt need our money, he just wants to get rid of the B.S. Wake up people!
