Even as the president jokingly proclaimed he was carrying an ID to prove his citizenship, it seems the "birther" movement just won't let up. These are the latest fiery interviews that seem to be fueling the movement.
'Blowhard and a phony' – Those are some strong words for Donald Trump from New York Times journalist Christopher Byron. Last night, Trump continued to question President Obama while sparring with CNN's John King . This is Byron's fierce analysis of the feud.
Certificate just not enough - So many questions remain for conservative activist Joseph Farah, who is still not convinced that President Obama is a citizen even after the release of the birth certificate. And then there's the radio personality who claims "there's just something not right about it."
Can we please move on? - Probably not. Our Carol Costello talks to political contributors James Carville and Dana Loesch, who go head to head in this heated debate.

ANother 5 years, that is it: They just need something to babble about. Economics to too complicated a word for them. Let them carry on for another 5 years. Then they will write books about the birth certificate conspiracy. And Trump would still be filthy rich and with no recorded charitable contributions or otherwise to the US.
I'd really, really would like to check some of the "birthers" birth certificates out!
Hmm, must be tough when the pundits you think are gods suddenly are proven to be liars. So Obama realy does have a nonlegal Birth Certificate and a legal Certificate of Live Birth.... What else could they be lying about? Maybe Obama isn't Muslim? Perhaps Obama is not out to destroy the US with a hidden fascist or socialist plot? Maybe you have been manipulated by the very pundits who spout off their hate speech like it is truth and make up "facts" to support their cause?
So now the choices are to decide to let go of all reality and keep supporting this dead issue or to learn from this & start questioning your news source. Don't take the words of any pundit (left or right) as fact. Invest the time & energy to get a balanced idea of what is going on instead. Don't let pundits distract you from the real issues by using shock techniques (OMG! No birth certificate! What are we going to do about it! ) Oh, and get ready, they are already brewing up the next shocking topic to persuade you to watch/listen to them rant.
This whole thing has been the single most entertaining comedy for some years, and Donald Trump is the greatest comedian currently doing stand up.
First off, what person on the planet that wants to be taken seriously would go out of the house with that hair? The man keeps saying how rich and successful he is but he can't find a decent barber or wig maker? C'mon, it's all for the comedic affect!
Now, anyone who take him seriously as a GOP candidate, well, how many times has he talked about running, and how many times has he even taken the first legal step? BUT, he sure gets a boat load of publicity every time he opens his trap.
As for the assertion that Obama was NOT investigated as closely as Bush, well, he was the first serious non-white contender for the presidency. Do you REALLY think they wouldn't investigate him to make absolutely certain about everything? Really?
And remember, government isn't run by politicians; it's run by the bureaucrats that have been there for years, making sure that the politicians say and do the things they need them to in order to keep their jobs. (See "Yes, Minister" and "Yes, Prime Minister")
So, along with Jon Stewart and James Carville, I really hope Trump sticks around. There'll be laughs aplenty!
I guess CNN totally forgot those interviews they had with the Africans in the village saying that they remember the day Barack Hussein Obama was born in africa. I remember watching it on CNN. I honestly could care less about the birthers, but you have to at least give them something.

Just when you thought Republicans couldn't be anymore disconnected from the public's strife, here they spend our time, energy and money discussing something as stupid as where our President was born.
I am appalled how much airtime this is getting while we had a tornado in and around Alabama, 9 Americans killed in Afghanistan while idiots like Trump are gloating over non sense!

The birthers have nothing else to stand on. Trump is just an opportunist who will 'flip & flop' and say anything to get at their money. He is a walking contradiction. Have you ever read his books? He has a track record of doing & saying anything for money. The birthers are basically attacking the Social Security Administration, the State of Hawaii, Secret Service, the citizenship of every person ever born in Hawaii, (or anywhere else) and the entire presidential vetting process. This is absurd beyond anything and what a pathetic, crying shame. As far as Trump is concerned, anything he says is just hot air. He saw all of the money that Palin figured out that she could pull in for doing nothing but looking pretty and attacking the President and then decided that he also wanted in. I have no respect for him now and I did like him -but now, you can forget it. I will not support, stay at, watch, spend or purchase ANYTHING that has any connection to him! What an embarrassment.
I watched the live conference yesterday and it's just down right EMBARASSING! The president of the United States shouldn't have to go on live television and show the people his birth ceritificate, the system is broken as this should've been done 3 years ago! Why was he even allowed to hide his paper and still be eligible to run?? Every state should mandate that each candidate on the presidential ballot present with proof of their birth in the USA.
Hey Rain! Perhaps you betta come out of the "rain". When a candidate chooses to run for president, they have to file with what is known as the "Federal Election Commission". Upon filing, proof of citizenship IS one of the requirements. Upon doing that, the Commission follows up on whatever has been submitted. Duh!!!!!

Excuse me! But did I hear someone say something about Obama being the worst president ever? Well, I decided to do some homework here. And what I found was that presidential approval ratings was first conducted with FDR. By the record I just viewed, (if they credible) it shows that G.W. Bush, J. Carter, and H.S. Truman all had approval ratings below 25%. But it is G.W. Bush who has the highest "disapproval" of all, 71%. By that (according to the facts, that is), that would make G.W. Bush the worst president of modern times on record. Just thought I'd mention it.
Who cares about his birth certificate, I think they would have checked that out before he became president.

President Obama has produced his Birth Certificate. Since his Mother was an American citizen he by birth is an American citizen. As far as his academic record\transcripts, they are irrelevant and not a requirement for the job. It's time for the "birther's"', "truther's", nay sayer's, etc. to put up or shut the F#%K up. All they are doing is creating a distraction from the real issues that our elected officials shuld be concentrating on to get the country and "our" economy back on track.
How right you are! If President Obama is really not a citizen, then someone should file a complaint against the Federal Election Commission for not doing their job. Obama would not have even gotten past the registration if there was some minute boubt of his citizenship. You just don't tell the Federal Election Commission, "Hey, I want to run for president!" And then they say, "Yeah, go right ahead". Puhleeeeze!!!
