Really folks, don't blame the jury or give glory to the defence team; the way the law is written probably you or I could go in and defend this guy and he would come out "Not guilty", because as the saying goes, "you've got to put the smoking gun in his hand?" and that is very hard to do. The judge tells the jury, "You must take every piece of evidence one by one and if that piece of evedince does not show the defendent to be guilty, then you must say 'not guilty". Ponderance of evidence does't count.
