Gotta Watch: Heat wave solutions

It's hot. And if it’s not hot where you are now, it probably will be shortly. A heat wave has it sights set on the Midwest, the Plains and the Southeast this week. Temperatures are expected to rise above 105 degrees. Our advice: Sit back and relax inside your air-conditioned spaces because you've gotta watch the best way to beat this summertime sizzle.

Sidewalk shenanigans – You say it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk, but is it really? Odds are even if you’re sizzling on the pavement your egg won't be. Trust us. We tried it.

Keeping cool – Sometimes drinking water isn't enough to help you chill out. That's when sweet treats and playtime can make a difference.

Baby, it's cold outside – During these dog days, this super chill video may be just what the meteorologist ordered. This past winter it was so cold, boiling water literally would freeze in the air before it hit the ground. It's definitely a sight to behold.

These are not the last days! We have lots of more days to go! Yeah it's hot & we need AC & swimming pools, but we don't need more "last days"scenarioists (probably not a word, but ya dig), making it worse! We're sweating, panting, drinking water & freaking if we don't have any, trying to keep ourselves & those we care for cool! Must we also worry for our immortal souls, according to the Last Days theorists?!? My Bibel says live each day to it's fullest, don't worry about tomorrow! I like that theory!!

jb how dare you condem a group of people to hell when you only worship from a bible ( king james) version that deliberity left out eight books from a earlier version of the bible because he personally didnt like them. what a narrow thinking fool you are , you might be the one condemed to hell, for your statment that all catholics are going to hell, i pray to God to forgive you and open your eyes and mind. Remember,' he who is without sin cast the first stone' and 'judge ye not least you be judged'.

It amazes me how almost every conversation turns into some religious dispute! Tornado-End Days, drought-End Days, Big Foot in your backyard-End Days!? What? Personally I want to read the books excluded from the King James, an "annointed" human, because they will shed light that we've been denied due to KJ's "annointedness", which made him basically a living sainted person, who could do no "wrong"! That was the way of kings then, & pretty much the way of politicians now! OK, so this heat wave is the cause of politicians reading the King James bible! Make them stop it!! Shout out to: JIF, banasy (real), & Ruff Nutt! How Y'all bees in these Last Days??LoL!!
