The Earth is simply telling humans to leave the planet, and people aren't listening.

Um, this planet's been having natural disasters way longer than humans have been around. Even before we evolved from the apes. Though I'm sure you think we were created in a matter of days along with the universe and rode dinosaurs to work like the Flintstones.

  9. That's funny

@Terry: The problem is humans have been saying Uncle (Sam) instead of father for far too long. You don't actually think Jesus is really God's only perfect son do you? Would God sacrifice his only son only to have little to no effect on the amount of horror going on here? People need to stop praying to middle men and flawed books, so they can get back to being nice and kind. I'd also ask Obama to pray to Jesus as well. He's a God fearing Christian as well and look how that's working for us.. Nice way to politicize it though. Or are you admiring Obama doesn't believe in God he was simply pretending in order to win the presidency?

As a premier hurricane, I am flattered by all of this attention, especially the media's blow-by-blow extended coverage. But how many people were murdered by Americans in these same cities? How many children were abducted or rayped? How many died of AIDS? Why all the focus on Irene, but never this kind of focus on the others who kill a lot more than Irene did.

Funny how people believe him(Obama) when he says he's "christian", never questioning to see if in fact he follows the path of Christ. Do you also believe that openly gay prists caught having relationships with men over and under the age of 18 are also "christian"? If so, this would explain your disdain for Jesus and his religion.

More than 100 people die each day from car accidents in the USA. – so 38 die from "Hurricane-Related" events over 3 days? Is this news? Some guy dies of a heart attack while boarding up his house – and that's news? I'm tired of CNN turning everything into a CATASTROPHY, DEATH, DESTRUCTION, VIOLENCE, RAP3, S3X S3X S3X!!!! – it's all so IN YOUR FACE. The reality is that this was less than a Category 1 Hurricane. There was some inland flooding, which is to be expected. The reality is that if the US Government put the US Infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels, damns, etc) upkeep as a priority, the issues that people are seeing would not occur. It's just all so pathetic. – but THANK GOD for CNN's coverage of this FURIOUS MAELSTROM of a HURRICANE! – STORM OF THE CENTURY!!! /lol whatever....

With all of the different web sites that exist now you can focus on any subject that strikes your fancy or you can just access sites that deal your particular obsession. To spend time complaining about what is on one particular site seems rather pointless. If it bothers you that much then I guess that you won't be back, so, goodbye.

@Irene - How about you trying to show a little compassion towards the families who have lost loved ones due to this hurricane instead of trying to turn this into some kind of religious or political debate !? It's people like you who give humanity a bad name.
