What happened regarding a Guinean maid in a luxury New York hotel suite in May was a "moral weakness," French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn said Sunday in an interview with French television station TF1.
He denied any violence or aggression, but said the incident was "an error, a mistake - a mistake concerning my wife, my children, my friends" as well as the French people "who placed their hope for change in me."
The former International Monetary Fund chief returned to France earlier this month after a long legal battle stemming from allegations made by the maid.
Based largely on the testimony of his accuser, Nafissatou Diallo, a grand jury indicted Strauss-Kahn on seven counts - two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, sexual abuse in the third degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, attempt to commit rape in the first degree and forcible touching.
Questions arose over the credibility of Diallo, prompting prosecutors to back off. In August, a New York judge waived the sexual assault charges against Strauss-Kahn.
Strauss-Kahn also said that accusations by French writer Tristane Banon that he attempted to rape her in 2003 are "imaginary."

First off, I am truly blown away by how unintelligent and ignorant some posters' comments are. I've never seen so many misspelled words and incomplete thoughts. It's amazing how some people can have so much bigotry and hatred, because of the color of someone's skin. Referencing Khan and the maid, no one knows what happened, but those two. He's very arrogant and conceited to make such bold statements after receiving a "get out of jail free card"! He may have gotten by, but he sure hasn't gotten away. It's a thing called "karma" and it's real!

DSK,though,isn't as bad as many. That's shown by the maid filing complaint. Had he used bad technology, she would not have known she'd been used to do his dirtywork until years later if at all. So he kept it in the realm of natural disasters.

DSK is definitely a liar, what I don't understand is, if the DA could not rely on Miss Dialo's story due to the her credibility since she had lied in the past (?), what about DSK's credibility in the past also? Almost every newspaper told every DSK stories about his infidelity..could we trust him too? Beside if she had some flaws concerning her past, does that mean that DSK could do anything he wants to her? This is just about money and power and certianly we need a crediblw DA for Gos sake.
