Pope Benedict 'returns home' to Germany

Pope Benedict XVI arrived at Berlin's Tegel airport Thursday morning.

About 6,000 police officers are securing the visit, authorities told CNN.

"Even though this journey is an official visit which will reinforce the good relations existing between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Holy See, I have not come here primarily to pursue particular political or economic goals, but rather to meet people and to speak about God," the pope said during a speech at Bellevue Castle.

I'm not a religious guy, but there are a few things I like about the Catholic Church. That said, all of those things take a back seat to what I don't like: covering up child molestation and telling people not to use birth control are unforgivable acts.

Atomic Office Drone, agree w/you 100%.
It's a travesty what has been done to protect the image of these ped priests; heck with that – get the Vatican to loosen up on a few purse strings and figure out how to protect the kids BEFORE anything happens.
Maybe a RC penal colony should be built...I don't know...

I want to know where the Pope will be on Sept. 27-28. Is there anyone from Vatican who knows this? Or someone is hiding someone to the masses?

What kind of a "state visit" is this where you want to talk about god and not about politics? => http://andreasmoser.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/pope-in-britain/
