Kuwait's emir ordered the country's National Assembly dissolved Tuesday, state media reported.
"Due to the deteriorating conditions that ... threatened the country's higher interests, it became necessary to resort to the people to select their representatives, overcome existing obstacles and realize national interests," Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said, according to the state-run Kuwait News Agency.
The decision came after a presentation by Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sahah, the agency reported. It was unclear whether al-Sabah requested the move.

Careful there. The shift in Arab Spring has yet to register.
We were planning to station our troops returning from Iraq & Afghanistan in places like Kuwait. That has to be guaged in a whole new perspective.
Remember when we first invaded Iraq under Bush Sr and created our military boot prints in these lands, it spurred movements like Al-Qaeda & rallied extremists to Osama Bin Laden's call to evict foreigners from Arab/Muslim lands ?

I am obliged you read my post & feel encouraged. There are thinking Americans like yourself who chose to reflect on what has been going wrong and why do we find ourselves where we stand today.
If Bush-Zapata had not developed Kuwait's oilfields...if Kuwait had not been illegally selling Bushco oil to Iraq's OPEC contract customer (J-pan)...then Iraq would have had no reason to invade Kuwait and set Bushco oilfields on fire...and Bushco along with just about every single democrat congressperson would not have voted "yes" for war on the Iraqi peoples. And if the American people weren't so ignorant of these things our leaders couldn't play US like they do.
Thank you for your response to tcr c2 i appreciate it very much, i grew up in the 60s and remember the summer of 69 here in california and it was instilled in me that war is not the answer, it never has been. But the american people keep allowing themselves to get sucked into the game. Its about time that us as americans get off our butts and do something about it and stop it from happening again. Thats why so many countrys hate us so much, especially 3rd world countrys.

When war is your strategy you are a sociopath. When preemptive war is your strategy, your eyes are probably too close together. You might even be very uncoordinated, and not able to speak well. Maybe even need a heart defibulator and xanax for the old lady.
