Pakistani police: 3 Germans arrested in raid

Three German citizens, including a German army colonel, were arrested in a police raid Saturday in the northern Pakistani city of Peshawar, authorities said.

Police official Mian Saeed said the three men had set up an office in the city without the permission of either the Pakistani or the German government.

He said police raided the office and asked the men to provide the necessary paperwork showing their legal status in the country. When they couldn't provide the paperwork, they were taken into custody, Saeed said.

@saywhat. Howdy. Sanity? Until organized religion is outlawed worldwide, insanity will prevail. Muslims believe in defending their homelands against the invaders as instructed by The Koran, and christians believe in invading muslim homelands as instructed in The Holy...no, something besides the bible instructed them to invade and occupy. (shrug) End organized religion and end the problem.

All of the world's powerful governments have secret services like the CIA who routinely open storefronts in foreign nations to disguise themselves. Read the book or watch Youtube video of "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" written by an American NSA agent who explains how it's done in great detail. And nobody sets-up shop and then removes security personnel. Nobody abandons their own business and leave them without security. Nobody. Not even Uncle Sam.

I certainly hope CNN expands on this story and gives me some answers.
I would love to know what the office was for: its purpose, why they thought they would get away undetected, etc.
